About Resurrection Early Learning Center
Resurrection Lutheran Early Learning Center
Established in 1971, this long-standing Spring community program provides a nurturing environment where children 'learn by doing.' Led by Director Christine Armstrong, the center focuses on creative exploration and developmental growth within a faith-based framework. The curriculum integrates indoor learning centers with significant time spent in nature and the school's chapel. Parents describe a 'dream team' atmosphere where staff provide personalized attention in small class settings. The facility is equipped for messy, active play—from mud-building and gardening to science-based activities. With options for infants through private kindergarten, the program bridges the gap between childcare and formal schooling, prioritizing outdoor fun as an integral part of the educational journey.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Resurrection ELC has been a divine blessing in my family's life. My daughters have never been away from me, and this is their first year at school. Amazingly, they have flourished! The school's staff is not only compassionate but also passionate about education and their students. For the first time ever, I feel at peace knowing my children are in good hands - loved, safe, and receiving a high quality education while having fun and growing. I highly recommend Resurrection ELC to anyone seeking an environment where their child can thrive.
Resurrection Early Learning Center is an absolute gem in our community! The warmth and kindness of the staff create a nurturing environment that feels like an extension of our family. With their small class sizes, the dedicated teachers focus on each child's unique needs, ensuring personalized attention that goes above and beyond. What sets this school apart is its commitment to creative play and staying at the forefront of educational studies. The staff seamlessly incorporates the latest teaching methods, fostering a love for learning in our little ones. Our daughter has flourished under their guidance for two years, and we couldn't be happier with her progress. Also, the genuine sense of community at Resurrection Early Learning Center is outstanding. The staff not only educates but also creates a welcoming atmosphere, making us feel like an integral part of the school family. Their expertise in early childhood education is evident in the high-quality teaching that our daughter receives daily. Beyond academics, the school hosts fantastic community events like trunk or treatings and Easter egg hunts, adding a fun and inclusive dimension to the learning experience. This school truly goes above and beyond to create memorable moments for both parents and children. When it comes to the overall package – from the reasonable pricing to the exceptional teachers and top-notch education – Resurrection Early Learning Center stands head and shoulders above the rest in the area. It's not just a school; it's an investment in our child's future, and we wholeheartedly believe it's the best choice we could have made.
Resurrection ELC is a fantastic program/school. Not only are the class sizes small, focused, and engaging, literally each student there is known by every single teacher. You can’t find that anywhere else. The teachers are wonderful at guiding each and every child in the specific way he/she needs. My children have been going to resurrection for 5 years (my daughter) and my son now attends the MDO. Both my children have thrived at this school, and I am so very thankful for this team supporting my children as they grow up. We absolutely love Resurrection ELC.
Resurrection has the dream team. Their teachers are so loving and caring, it shows through and through! And the director, Mrs. Armstrong, brings a level of professionalism that makes you feel confident from your very first visit that your children are in a safe place. I am so thankful my kids have the opportunity to start their schooling at a place that prioritizes play and outdoor fun as not only tertiary but INTEGRAL parts of a child's educational journey. The curriculum fosters a creative approach to learning that I believe will benefit my children far beyond their formal classroom years. This place is so much more than a "daycare" -- it is a preschool from the very earliest age group.
We enrolled our twins in the 3s class at ELC in August of 2020 and it has been such a blessing watching them grow and love school so much! They absolutely love their teacher and love going to school every day. I love that we have a place we can trust to love our babies just like we do. They have grown tremendously this year! My son has also gained so much confidence and has come out of his shell which, as a mama, I’ve been waiting so long for. His speech has taken off and ELC has so much to do with his success in this. We can’t wait for the 2021/2022 school year!!!!
