We absolutely adore ILDS! We tried another daycare in Pflugerville and we and our 1-year-old son are so much happier here. The school is brimming with teachers who love their students, and administrators who are super plugged in. We love that the children get daily outdoor time and gymnasium time. They are also the cheapest option we found in addition to being the best!
My son has been attending Immanuel Lutheran Day School since he was two years old. He is almost four now and the care he gets at this day care is great. He has had many great teachers who I can trust has his best interest in mind. There are so many loving and caring teachers here.
My son started at ILDS about a year ago after having a bad experience at another daycare. I never thought I’d see the day where he happily runs into any daycare. It is not the fanciest facility, but all of the teachers have been GREAT. We have not experienced any teacher turnover in the classes he has been in. It means the world to me knowing I am leaving him somewhere that genuinely cares about him!
We chose Immanuel Day School because it's a small, loving, faith based teaching school. My children have loved their time as toddlers here. They came home each day singing a new song! They attend the after care program and it's wonderful to know they are picked up and taken here to finish their day. The Director has an open door and will listen to parents. Communication is key to success! I'm glad we chose ILDS as their home away from home.
If you check the CPS website, ILDS has no non-self reported incidents. When you visit you can see why: Love. Love is what the beautiful people of this Day School bring to their children. I was a little nervous when my wife and I visited to get on the waiting list, because we are not religious, definitely not members of the Lutheran church, and both have visible tattoos. It didn't matter, and I shouldn't have worried. The church is open, loving, and accommodating of any special needs we have brought to them including unusual scheduling. They are clearly invested in my daughter and in the many other children that stay here. Their prices are shockingly reasonable, I would expect to pay almost half again what we do for the same quality care elsewhere. And the kids love it here. My daughter fights me to go home every day! If you are a parent looking for a reason to sign up, consider this your sign. This is the place.
