About The Bear Creek KinderCare
Bear Creek KinderCare Houston Learning Center
Established in 1986, The Bear Creek KinderCare provides a research-based curriculum under the direction of Rosa Priego, who brings over 20 years of experience and a State of Texas Director's Credential. The center is organized into specialized learning suites, including a shoe-free infant zone and classrooms equipped with age-appropriate, kid-sized furniture designed to foster independence and confidence in young learners. Beyond standard care, the program offers specialized "Learning Adventures" in STEM, phonics, music, and cooking, with Spanish integrated into the daily experience. Tuition includes nutritious meals and snacks, and the facility provides bus transportation to several local elementary schools including Harmony and Jowell. Parents stay connected to their child's day through a dedicated mobile app that provides regular photos and activity updates.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
So far everything has been going nicely. Everyone that works there has been welcoming to me an my family. I get to see what my children are doing throughout the day
My school ager has been asked to leave a couple of other programs due to behavioral issues and his ADHD. I was open about this when enrolling him here a couple of years ago. He’s been going for a while now and is absolutely thriving! We had some issues but they have been patient with him and we worked through them. You can tell the staff truly cares about the kids. Special shoutout to Ms Rudi! Transportation to and from school helps me keep a full work schedule as well as their availability on school holidays. And my son really enjoys all the activities and field trips during the summer program. I don’t know what I’d do without this place.
I just saw the kindercare van full of children, with some children standing up, pull across 2 lanes of traffic with oncoming vehicles coming towards them. It was so dangerous, the driver should not be allowed to drive these children around if they're not going to be safe. This just happened about 10 minutes ago. Please be aware of who is transporting your children.
This is a very great daycare. They have helped my autistic child improve so much. I would highly recommend. I love the Director Ms.Rosa is awesome and sweet she is just the best to care director ever.
I absolutely love love the new director Ms.Rosa she is so sweet and loving she listens and cares about you. If you have a problem she is there for you and your baby, she took my daughter in and made me feel at home. My family is all in New York and have no one here. I m thankful for Bear creek and the teachers . I would definitely recommend this daycare, thank you so much for making us feel at home.
