About Hope Children's Center

Hope Children's Center Faith-Based Learning

Established in 1978 as a ministry of Hope Presbyterian Church, this center provides a warm, inclusive environment focused on the 'whole child.' The curriculum is rooted in child-directed learning and exploration, featuring a dedicated STEAM lab and an indoor gymnasium for year-round physical activity. Serving children from 18 months through elementary age, the program offers flexible scheduling including primary morning classes, extended care until 6:00 PM, and summer mini-camps. Director Krystal Leedy leads a team of specialized teachers in music, Spanish, and STEAM to foster social-emotional and academic readiness. The facility boasts multiple playgrounds and integrated chapel services, emphasizing character building and global citizenship. Families are part of a long-standing community staple that values diversity, discovery, and active play in a supportive Northwest Austin setting.

Absolutely love HCC! Teachers and administration are amazing and responsive. Our 5 year old has been in two classes since he started a couple years ago. Both classes were/are run by incredible teachers and assistants. Our 7 year old attends after school care and absolutely loves it. With the playground and indoor gym, my boys always have plenty of physical activity, regardless of the weather. They also do a lot of art projects and academics as well. They are great at communicating updates. Handwashing on arrival is emphasized to keep kids healthy! Highly recommend!

Our experience with Hope childcare has been all positive. They have dedicated staff who truly serve a greater role than just childcare. They are empathetic to each child’s individual needs. Their curriculum keeps the children engaged so their time is well spent leading them into elementary school.

The Hope staff is professional, caring, and welcoming. They implement best practices in developmentally appropriate approaches. Hope has a long-standing reputation as an excellent child development center. They have been responsive to my grandson's and the communities needs. As a retired educator, I highly recommend Hope Children's Center.

We love Home Children's Center. We have child with very sensitive skin and health issues. Not one she had diaper rashes under their watch. They were very attentive and well communicating with us on everything. They potty trained my child so well with all the issues we had. The teachers are very loving, caring, and attentive. They all have huge heart for kids. They have wonderdul play grounds- multiple ones. They also have indoor gym and playrooms. They teach music, science, math, art and many more! their ours are very generous! Teacher to student ratio is also very low. Come by and tour the place. you will love it too!
