About Wee Care Center

Wee Care Preschool & Day Care Center

Operating since 1986 as a ministry of the Open Gate Community Church, Wee Care provides a structured, faith-focused environment in Northeast El Paso. The facility is designed with distinct developmental zones, including a private Infant Suite for newborns and toddlers, specialized classrooms for potty training, and a dedicated Kindergarten program. Students benefit from the Abeka curriculum, which emphasizes phonics and reading, consistently earning praise from local teachers for the readiness of its graduates. The program is a 3-star Texas Rising Star certified center, offering more than just childcare. For older children, they provide before and after-school care with transportation to nearby schools and summer programs. Meals—including breakfast, lunch, and snacks—are provided daily. Located minutes from Fort Bliss and Loop 375, the center focuses on the whole child, fostering spiritual, social, and academic growth in a clean, organized, and welcoming setting.

My 3 month old and 1.5 year old have been here for almost a year now, they have bonded with their teachers and have been well taken care of, sad to leave because we are moving but it is highly recommended especially if you want your kids to learn about God 🙏🏻

My family has been blessed with this daycare family for almost 5 years (4 children). I cannot express the love and support each one of the staff members gives to each individual child and the overwhelming peace it gives me to know they are in the best hands every day and every moment. They have clear communication, constant love to my children, healthy meals, art and crafts, fun filled activities, outdoor time, nap times, reading time daily, and daily observation/communication from teachers during pickup. For the amount of love and resources they provide, I know for a fact they simply do not charge enough! If you are looking for a place to go, please hear me and make WeeCare your number one choice! With all of our love: Sierra, Chris, Naomi, Eleanor, Esme, and baby Noah♥️
