What Parents Say

We love Chapelwood! …even though we might cut up a bit during Christmas Eve Service! 😬
I love this church and Mercy Street. If u ever have some free time on Saturday afternoon- come on by, service starts @5:30🎉
I grew up in Chapelwood with my parents and 4 siblings. I was married in this church. I am now in my 60s and live in Colorado. I recently googled the church to see how it was growing, and was saddened to see that the 13 original founders names were not listed in the church history. I remember the stories my parents told about knocking on strangers doors, inviting them to attend. Once my father was greeted by a man and his shotgun and was told to leave! They worked hard to establish this legacy. I wish that their names could have been recognized for all their hard work, all 13 of them! My parents were Bill and Nitis English.
I've been attending the "Mercy Street" service at Chapelwood since 2011/12. I've heard they have something like 30 different services at Chapelwood, but don't quote me on the numbers. If you are new to Recovery, or been involved for a while, but have never been to Mercy Street, you need to check it out. It's definitely a good place to spend a Sat evening, and I've always loved the Candlelight Christmas Eve service at MS. Just grab a couple of friends, and make it a start to your night. Super casual, laid back atmosphere, which is pretty original in church services, imo. You might just learn something that will save you and your family. I hope that you do!!💯 If you need help, this is a good place to be. There are people that attend the church service and the subsequent NA/AA meetings that can, at a minimum, lend an ear and possibly offer suggestions. Don't think, just GO!!! God Bless everyone that reads this post, whether you want it or not, I'm praying you and your family find what you lack have more than enough to share with the next family. 💯🔥🔥🔥♥️
I went for the first time for Easter. A very nice experience. Great Songs and singing. The pastor was contemporary and on point without being way too long. I just might go again.
