Jewel's Learning Center

First off the family orientation and vibe is amazing. The sheer fact that Mrs. Jewel is present most days makes my heart happy bc growing up she is equivalent to what my grandmother was to the city. Mrs. Charlotte, Mrs. Dinetta (spelling may be wrong) and Ms. Mimi and Mrs. Roneisha have been a blessing to me on so many levels. I am a first time mother and before finding this gem, I was having a nerve wrecking experience with a franchised preschool but a coworker told me her grandson attends here and loves it and I couldn't wait to check them out. I would recommend Jewel's Learning Center to the masses!! Peace, love, and light to a group of ladies that I pray are forever apart of our lives!!

I absolutely love jewels learning center!!!! They have been such a blessing to me and my family! My son who is 3 absolutely loves it there. He is excited and happy to go to school every single day!!! Thank you to all the staff for all you do!! I definitely recommend Jewels learning center!!!

I cannot say enough about Jewel’s. My children were taught and received strong foundational concepts and values at Jewel’s. They were at the school for around 2 years and loved it! They are now 12 yrs old and attend Pin Oak Middle School, but still enjoy going back to Jewel’s to visit. My twins are A/B students and I credit that to the time they spent at Jewel’s. No place is perfect and yes my kids cried in the beginning, but after a little while, they would jump out of the car and run into the building. Years later, we are very pleased with the decision we made to place our boys at Jewel’s.

As a new mom I was nervous and hesitant to bring my baby to a daycare. I visited the daycare a few times before I actually enrolled my son and each time the staff made me feel comfortable. My son has now been attending 2 months and he feels the love and nurturing from not only his teacher Ms. Lakeisha, but all of the others as well. It is a plus that this family own daycare still has the founder there every morning, Ms. Jewel is such a sweet and welcoming woman and she gives that feeling that you are dropping your child off to his own grandmother instead of a daycare center. I am glad that I decided on this center not only does it have a family feel, but also affordable.

My daughter has been attending the day care for 6 months now. Ms. Charlotte is the director of the learning center, with a BA in Civil Eng, but what sold me was the Masters in education. The staff is always courteous and eager to see the growth and development of my little one. It's a blessing having this place close by and at an affordable price. The only downside to coming here is having to pass up the delicious breakfast they are making for the little ones and I forgot to grab a bite.. The original lady who started the business (Ms. Jewel) is still there, I know she is literally a grandma, but gives that same grandma feelings to the parents of the little ones.
