About Grace Temple Child Development
Grace Temple Child Development Center
Grace Temple Child Development Center has served the San Angelo community since 1988 as a dedicated ministry of Grace Temple Baptist Church. Led by Director Jessica McCain, the program focuses on developing the whole child—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We utilize a systematic, sequenced curriculum featuring Frog Street and Abeka foundations to ensure preschool students are well-prepared for the transition to kindergarten. Our facility offers distinct learning centers for exploration, alongside an active after-school program for children up to age 12. We provide daily transportation from several local elementary schools, including Bonham, Bowie, and Santa Rita. As a participant in the USDA Child and Adult Care Program, we provide nutritionally balanced meals and snacks prepared on-site. The center is also part of the Texas Rising Star quality-based rating system, reflecting a commitment to early learning standards.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Truly one of the most well run daycares I've seen. The building is always very clean and well kept. My daughter is excited to go to daycare every day and the teachers are great with her. I recommend this daycare to everyone.
we have nothing but great things to say about this CDC.. we will be here untill my son is school age! they care so much and help out. when we started last year they were so helpful with us being first timers! very good communication, caring ladies it’s a great feeling when my son is HAPPY and EXCITED to go to school. 💜
Absolutely loved the school and teachers, but the lady in the front was not pleasant at all. Ruined our experience here.
My grandkids are so happy here! I love how organized they are too!
I really enjoyed my kids going there because the teachers do care. However, I asked if it would be a problem during the summer if my kids did not go everyday. I wanted to make sure they wouldnt withdraw them. Well as soon as I quit taking them for about a week and a half (vacation), they withdraw them. No phone call, no letter, nothing. I went to take them one day and they tell me my children can't stay because I had not been taking them. I just dont understand why they would give me wrong information and then withdraw my kids for no reason......

Grace Temple Child Development Center is a licensed child care center (Permit #234480) in operation since 1988 with a capacity of 123 children. While a 2015 local news report listed the center as having zero deficiencies at that time, current regulatory status indicates active state monitoring.
Parent Reputation
There are no verifiable parent reviews available on major platforms including Google, Yelp, Facebook, or Winnie.
