I visited this church for about 4 years before eventually making the commitment to join. I was repeatedly drawn back to the various outreach initiatives they have for the community such as the fire works show, the garage sales, the Easter egg hunt, pumpkin patch, and Halloween trunk or treat. The real appeal though was that every time I came to visit everyone was so welcoming and seemed genuinely accepting and appreciative that we were there. I never felt judged with my little one during service and I realized that this church truly modeled the love of Christ and was a safe place where I could grow and practice my faith.
We went to the Pet Blessing (early due to my guy being a little extra 😁🐾) The Pastor came out and blessed my guy early as well. We got some Pumkins and Pictures too. Everyone was Very Sweet, Caring, and Fun!! We will definitely go back!!!
Fantastic pastor & caring congregation. Lots to do & many ways to serve the community. Beautiful prayer garden that comes with a huge, active prayer team! St. Phil's is a great place to explore a closer relationship with a truly loving God.
Service is always very uplifting. The congregation greets guests with open arms, and very loving,and caring atmosphere. An excellent place to worship. God has a plan for each of us. God bless St.Phiilip's United Methodist Church.
I’m reviewing St. Philip’s in regards to their Day School. My son has attended there for two years and I couldn’t be more pleased with this school! I love the school’s simplicity and the teachers’ passion for what they do! Every day I’m truly surprised at what my 4-year-old has learned from his teachers. The activities are very hands-on, lots of sensory-based activities, cooking together, planting seeds, and creative art projects. Not only is my son sounding out words at age 4, but also his math/science skills also impress me! The students know their daily routines well and the program is very well-structured. Did I mention St. Philip’s is by far the best-priced pre-k program in the area? You will not be disappointed! As far as the church, I love their heart for the community. They offer fabulous free activities for the neighborhood! Check them out!
