I was Disturbed when picking up my goddaughter from daycare. I walked into a conversation that Alex the director was having with the front desk lady. She stated loud clear "Im like God! What I say goes and I'm always right" she smirked and then walked away. I was in total shock because coming from a God-fearing women those words should have never come out of her mouth. Her demeanor it's like a macho bull. She throws her weight around as if she owns the daycare. She should be ashamed of her actions.

I will speak on the class I worked with specifically. The prek teacher does not have the compassion to be teaching the classroom. I was there for one day and quickly saw how she managed the classroom. While I was there I noticed she was not nurturing and she expected all kids to just automatically do what she wanted without having to be told more than once or redirect them at all. Children can easily pick up if someone dislikes them..

My young son has only attended Flying Colors about a month and a half, but we have seen a significant increase within not only his abilities but his confidence as well. After having a horrible experience with another local daycare, I was hesitant to enroll him in daycare again but Flying Colors and their staff have been so welcoming and understanding. I know when I drop him off in the morning, until the time he is picked up, that he is safe and taken care of. My son is enrolled in the school program they offer and it has been a breath of fresh air to have a teacher that puts in the work and effort to ensure her students/kids are taken care of. The communication they provide is wonderful and their director, Ms. Alex shows a true love for her kids. My son has grown a bond with Ms. Alex and will not leave without giving her a hug. As a parent, it is a nice feeling to leave my child there and know he is safe and taken care of.

I've been taking my kids to this daycare center for going on 8 years, there isn't anywhere else I would take them to. Are there changes with staff? Of course there are, what business has the exact same employees they started with...not too many! To say I've never had an issue within the going on 8 years my kids have attended here would be a lie. Every issue I've had I've brought to the attention of the staff, especially to the assistant director Laura, she knows that daycare center inside and out. She started as an aide, has been a teacher, even worked in the cafeteria preparing meals for the kids. She worked her way up and I can definitely see why, she loves what she does and the kids love her as well. I put my full trust in to Laura when there is a concern, any type of issue or just a simple question, she gets the job done. My kids love her, they call her Mother Goose and they say they are Miss Laura's little ducklings. We definitely need more people like Miss Laura at daycare centers who love what they do!

When my son first started here, they seemed attentive to the children and their needs. Within a few months, the environment changed drastically. Staff/Teachers would just quit with no notice. Incidents are not reported to the parents and the staff do not see a big deal when children are being bullied, bitten and hit. Multiple incidents with multiple children within a couple week period. The communication is nonexistent. We had to pull our child as he dreaded going to daycare here and would refuse to go without struggling all day. The "assistant director" Laura is a joke and runs this place into the ground. Any concerns are blown off. Children who are struggling are not comforted in any way. Daycare is supposed to be a safe haven while parents are at work and away from their child not a place where you have to worry about your child being unattended and unhappy.
