About St. Philip's Preschool

St. Philip's Preschool in Round Rock

St. Philip's Preschool, a ministry of St. Philip's United Methodist Church, has provided a nurturing environment in Round Rock since 1990. Led by Director Paula Ray, the program emphasizes social, emotional, and spiritual growth through a play-based curriculum. The staff is notably stable, with veteran teachers boasting over 20 years of experience, creating a "home away from home" atmosphere for toddlers and pre-kindergarteners. The facility utilizes a dedicated kids' wing and an outdoor playground for daily activities. Operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the school also offers an optional early bird drop-off at 8:00 AM. While the program integrates Christian values, parents report a strong focus on academic and social readiness for kindergarten, supported by hands-on crafts, seasonal projects, and community-building events.

We loved everything about St.Philip's Preschool from day one! My child was with me when we toured the Preschool and didn't want to leave. We were there for a year and a half and had a wonderful experience. The teachers and staff were amazing. My child had a great time, made so many friends and was so well-prepared for kindergarten. I highly recommend St. Philip's Preschool!

You will not find a better preschool or daycare for your children. I've worked in a lot of child care facilities, and I can tell you the level of love and care that my child receives here is far above any others I've seen. The teachers are SO passionate, they care SO much about each and every child. The differences and strengths of each child are encouraged and celebrated. They are always looking to help children develop socially, emotionally, physically and academically--and they make it fun! I will be sending all my children here so St.Philips can help them build a foundation for the rest of their lives. If you're not Christian, please don't let that deter you, its a very small part of the curriculum. If you ask for a tour and meet the people who would be caring for your children, you won't have any doubts.

We have loved St Philip's for both of our kiddos. They provide an amazing environment for kids to learn, play, and grow. We've tried three other daycares and found St. Philips to be far and away the best. Extremely safe, attentive, and positive environment. The staff has very low turnover. I cannot recommend them enough.

St. Philip's preschool feels like family! They love the children like their own, and both my kids had such admiration for all of their teachers, and Ms. Paula. There is always something fun to look forward to happening at St. Philip's: fire station field trips, special guests, petting zoos, water days, seasonal performances... the teachers are so dedicated! Activities in the classroom are appropriate for the kids' ages, and lessons always include hands-on activities with crafts and projects for the kids to create.

I dearly love St Philip's Preschool! The staff are all so caring towards the children and amazingly creative in their activities. It was a home away from home all 6 years that my kids attended. They don't just teach children, they build a community with teachers, staff and families. It's a wonderful place!
