What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We switch from one of Pinnacle's sister locations due to needing somewhere closer to home. We love Pinnacle and the staff here! My son especially loves the outside playground area. We are so glad we were able to find a new daycare that meets our high expectations!
We have had our son enrolled at PKA since he was four months old in 2022. We love his teachers and the attention they give the students. Ms. Melissa has been doing a great job as the new director!
We had our bunny attend from 18 months to a little over 3 years. We had to abruptly move which left us looking for a new, safe place. But while at Pinnacle, my girl flourished and multiple times didn't want to leave for the day. I will forever be so grateful for the love and attention she received from her teachers and staff. We miss them! Highly recommend!
I’ve had my daughter at Pinnacle for almost 2 years and we love it! We’ve had nothing but positive experiences. My daughter has loved all of her teachers and the staff are all amazing! The way they all love and care for my daughter is unmatched and I plan on enrolling my baby as well. Highly recommend!!
I cannot say enough positive things about Pinnacle on Classen! We absolutely love everything about this childcare center! My son was born 13 weeks premature, and has some mild developmental delays including speech. For this reason, I've always been a bit more particular about his care, and who I entrust him with. He's attended other centers in the area, but they just didnt meet our needs as a family. Pinnacle has risen to our needs and provided a safe, nurturing place for him to grow and develop. Our son has a couple of therapists through a local agency that come to provide him services while he's at Pinnacle. Without asking, they have reached out to me to tell me how much they love the teachers and how good everyone is at working with my son. It truly is a positive environment. The teachers are very receptive to learning to work with his speech delays and social skills. My son is greeted everyday with a hug. There are no tears, he knows he is safe and loved. The entire staff truly cares for the kids they work with. That alone should speak to the amazingness of this place. I also have to say a note about the leadership. Ever since there was a change in directors, Pinnacle is an extremely welcoming environment. You will see some reviews about the director, but rest assured that was the previous leadership. The current leadership is phenomenal. If I have a question, they have an answer. If my kiddo needs some extra TLC, they make sure it happens. Events are scheduled to include the family in fun activities. It's just wonderful. If you're on the fence, don't be! Your children will be loved and cared for at Pinnacle on Classen!
Web Report
Aggregated insights from public records & parent discussions
Safety Record
In February 2022, a $10 million lawsuit was filed against Pinnacle Kids Academy's parent company, Infinity Rock Enterprises Inc., and its Braun Road location following allegations of a sexual assault of a 3-year-old girl by a male employee during a diaper change. The academy denied the allegations, stating their own internal investigation found no evidence of the incident, and the employee was suspended with pay. For the 15706 Classen Rd location specifically, state records indicate it is a licensed child care center with a capacity of 157 children and a permit valid through July 2025.
Parent Reputation
The daycare maintains a generally positive reputation among local parents, with review aggregators showing average ratings as high as 4.7 out of 5 stars. Parents frequently praise the 'safe and caring' environment and the variety of extracurricular activities. However, the 2022 lawsuit involving the wider chain remains a significant point of concern in public discussions and news mentions.
Staff Insights
Employee reviews are mixed, with an average rating of approximately 3.3 out of 5 on platforms like Indeed. While some staff members describe management as 'sweet' and 'supportive,' others have reported high stress due to being short-staffed, citing instances of 1:14 teacher-to-child ratios in Pre-K classrooms. Common complaints include management favoritism, low pay for the workload, and high turnover.
