About Life Time
Life Time Fitness Camps San Antonio
Life Time Fitness Camps at The Rim offers a high-energy environment for children ages 4 to 13. The program utilizes the club's expansive 112,000 square foot facility, providing campers with access to indoor and outdoor pools, basketball courts, and a dedicated rock climbing wall. Led by Director Jasmine Mitchell, the program focuses on theme-based learning that combines physical movement with character building and creative STEAM projects. Campers follow a structured schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the added benefit of before and after-care included to support working families. The environment is bustling and active, designed for children who thrive in a busy, sports-oriented setting. While the facility serves a broad membership, the Kids Academy and camp zones provide dedicated spaces for junior members to explore and play under supervision.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Poorly managed facility. Frequent outage of paper towels in restroom. Frequent dirty mirrors on gym floor. Poor equipment placement, frequently blocking mirrors. What’s the point of mirrors?? Adding more plate loaded equipment and NOT adding more plates, overall. Can we get improved management, especially for the rates you charge???
What a nice experience! The people at the front desk were very kind. I came here as a visitor with my friend and felt very welcome.
I had a wonderful experience with Sherry at Life Time. She consistently provides exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and supported. Sherry is always smiling, approachable, and genuinely eager to help, which makes every interaction pleasant and positive. Her professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness truly stand out, and she is a big reason why Life Time feels like such a great place to be. Thank you, Sherry, for your outstanding service and positive energy!
I have been a member for over twelve years, regularly visited the gym at all hours since l am retired. When l first joined, this gym was affordable, clean and had a correct number of members to the size of the facility. The last two years, they keep selling too many memberships while making dramatic price increases on existing memberships. Now the gym is super overcrowded, used towels everywhere, and general cleanliness has dropped. Would cancel my membership, but no other gym offers the wet area facilities that Lifetime does, so l will put up with the overcrowding for now.
High prices + Low standards. This gym used to be worth the high costs years ago but lately it’s gone downhill, fast. Expect to have your dues increase every 3-4 months with no new machines or amenities added in to justify the cost increase. Additionally, they’ve been pushing patrons out of the gym area and sauna area 20 mins earlier than their listed closing time. If a business is open until 11pm, then it should be open for complete use until 11pm. Paying customers shouldn’t be rushed to leave an establishment they pay high costs for just because the staff wants to leave early. I own businesses and I can’t close my doors early because I want to go home. Very unprofessional. You’re better off spending your money at a more affordable gym that has better/newer equipment and better hours.
