What Parents Say

If I could give them no stars I would cause this is the Worst place to have ever brought my child too . Two incidents occurred on their watch to my baby girl and the sad part is that I feel like every daycare facility should have cameras to where you can see what happened and not just word-of-mouth because nowadays a lot of kids are getting abused from daycare. My daughter was always dirty. I didn’t feel like she was getting the proper care she needed, but I’m so thankful for this new Daycare tht she will be goin to cause they have cameras and let you see your child all day.
This daycare needs to be investigated ASAP, my daughter received a head injury on Monday and a head injury on Tuesday! Now anybody that has kids knows that two head injuries back to back isn’t just kids being kids. That’s a negligence and Texas regulators will see this that way as well. The lack of care for the concern I had for my daughter‘s head injuries from the owner to some of the staff was beyond me. I was literally told to come pick my daughter up when I called inquiring about her head injury. Made to seem like I was being irate where I was only just Concerned this is my first child. We’re not talking about a scratch on the knee or elbow we’re talking about head injuries.I was told by a staff member that she fell from a chair which happens often I told said staff member well if this happens often. What barriers are you guys setting in place to prevent it from happening so much and was told to come and get my child they parted ways with me. I’m fine with that. I honestly feel like that was best. My daughter was in the toddler class and has had a change of teacher several times in the 3 to 4 months, she was there. Three ear infections, two colds, A runny nose for almost a month and now two head injuries so everything that happened was God‘s plan this place needs to be exposed and investigated. I don’t know if they have the correct staff to student ratios if they have staff correctly trained , but something is wrong up there and for the owner to treat me like I shouldn’t be concerned, “oh it happens” “put your child in a bubble”,she told me. I Feel something is not right at this daycare and they have a “we protect our own” mentality instead of “WE PROTECT THE KIDS”I pay you for a service due to the need for work and lack of family. They were an option I have now found The majority of the five star ratings on Reviews for this daycare, come from staff that work there(bias?) I settled for this daycare to keep the bills paid for that. I blame myself. Don’t make the same mistake I made find a daycare for your child that actually cares and will actually take care of your child. They do have them out there. THIS ONE IS NOT ONE!!! I encourage all who read this to view photos attached and keep in mind this was day 2’s incident day 1’s incident they weren’t even aware of until my wife picked our daughter up and made them aware of!
This daycare is a great place for babies all the way to just before they enter kindergarten- they even have an afterschool care program for selected schools in the NBISD area. My daughter has gone since she was 6 weeks old and is now almost 2 1/2 years old. She’s changed classes and all of her teachers have been so great with her transitioning from one class to the next. They also provide meals, which I find helpful being that I have multiple children in different schools. Those teachers truly do care for the kids, and I feel great to have found a place for my girl til she’s off to the next adventure starting elementary school. Thanks BBKA for all you do
We ABSOLUTELY LOOOVE Blue Bird Kids Academy!! We have been with them for over 9 years with my now 11 year old and still have 3 kiddos with them! 1 full time and 2 after school care. They’re always doing fun things and field trips with the kids. By far the BEST daycare and I trust the staff completely with my kids. WE LOVE THEM!!
Both of my children have attended Blue Bird since they were 3 months old. Our oldest went through every classroom including the summer program and our youngest is still enrolled. We love this daycare and the teachers. Our kids are excited to go everyday and come home happy! The owners are very accommodating and easy to work with and communication between teachers, parents and owners is great. If we had to choose again we would choose Blue Bird in a heartbeat.
