What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Seeing all the bad reviews really breaks my heart for the kids. Unfortunately, the bad ones are the most accurate to the truth. Please send your children to a different school if possible. The management alone is incompetent of doing their job properly. A few of the teachers have been there a few years+ and do an amazing job but under poor management. Kathy just sits there at the computer while employees ask for help, Bobbie is more hands on but chooses favorite employees and treats others differently. As far as cleanliness goes, yes the teachers do some cleaning but it’s bare minimum and often not done properly. While illness does happen in childcare, the stop of spread is important and can be avoided by proper cleaning. While they do TECHNICALLY follow state guidelines, it’s bare minimum and wouldn’t enroll my child here again, even if it was the last school on earth. I know the management will respond to this and try to say it’s false, however many can/will say the truth. The owner and I never had any issues besides the choice in office staff and the way they ran the school.
I’m giving this daycare 2 stars, mainly due to poor front-office management. Kathy, who handles payments and paperwork, often seems unaware of what’s going on. About every six weeks, we’re charged a late fee because their payment system processes late. We’ve raised this issue multiple times, but it continues without clear resolution. Illness is another major concern. Our child has been sick frequently, leading to many missed days. There have been several cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease in the past year alone. Staff turnover is constant. Many teachers and helpers are new, and when asked basic questions like how an incident happened or how our child’s day went, answers are often vague or uncertain. It feels like staff are overwhelmed by the number of infants and toddlers, and it shows. That said, three instructors stand out as excellent: Shantel, Alexzis, and Destiney. They have been the only consistent positive experience at this facility
I can’t recommend Little Rascals enough! Our 4 year old has gone there over a year and she’s learned a lot. They are also quick to respond and have worked with us on some issues. The staff is very friendly and professional.
I do like the fact that this place has locked doors and you need a code but.. the lady up front needs to be replaced it’s as if she has no idea what she is doing and she can be very rude. Not the best environment for your child. I recommend spending your hard earned dollars on a different daycare. They have 3.5 rating for a reason!
I love this daycare. I have tried other daycare in the past years with my other children and this one is by far the best. I love the communication I get from the director, assistant director and the staff. All very friendly and truly love my baby. They serve them healthy and hardy meals and snacks. The curriculum they teach is very effective, my 2 year old is already way ahead of the curve. I feel safe with the locked doors and you can only enter if you have a code. I highly recommend this daycare
