Montessori Education on 14-Acre Farm

Ladybird Montessori offers an authentic Montessori experience on a 14.5-acre campus in Buda, serving children from 8 weeks old through 9th grade. The facility is uniquely equipped with a working farm featuring alpacas and goats, a 10,000-square-foot athletic pavilion, and a dedicated 2,500-square-foot Maker-Space for STEAM projects. Students spend significant time outdoors, utilizing nature trails and outdoor classrooms as part of their daily curriculum. Led by Director Niki Foster, who holds AMS and MACTE certifications, the school emphasizes independence and experiential learning. While infants and toddlers benefit from low ratios and prepared environments, the elementary and secondary programs integrate rigorous academics with purposeful work. Parents should note the program follows a baby-led weaning food policy where families provide specific meals for their children while the school provides healthy snacks.
