About The Goddard School of Sugar Land
The Goddard School of Sugar Land
Led by on-site owner Ms. Kathy, who holds advanced degrees in engineering and biochemistry, this center implements the proprietary 'Wonder of Learning' curriculum. The program fosters child-led inquiry through literacy, science, and the arts, serving children from six weeks through kindergarten. A notable feature is the 'Bridge' classroom, specifically designed to support children as they transition into more structured preschool settings. The facility is equipped with premium safety measures, including hand scanner security systems and surveillance cameras. Parents frequently highlight the environment's cleanliness and the warm, responsive nature of the teachers. The curriculum is enriched with Spanish, American Sign Language, and various enrichment programs like music and physical fitness. While daily snacks are provided, the center maintains a diverse and organized atmosphere that parents describe as feeling more like a school than a standard daycare.
What Parents Say

I am so thankful for Ms. Ramona and the patience she shows with our 4-year-old. She understands that every child learns and grows at their own pace, and she handles each situation with calmness, compassion, and care. My child has grown so much emotionally and socially because of her. She truly goes above and beyond, and i couldn’t ask for a better teacher.
We have been here since July. Miss Christine and Miss Chelsea have been great! Miss Neldy, Miss Patricia, and Miss Kathy are also very much apart of my little ones care. They have been so helpful in making me feel comfortable about the process and always ensure that my daughter is doing just fine! That’s hard to come by!
Mrs. Romana is truly the best of both worlds—loving and nurturing, yet firm in all the ways that help children grow and thrive. That balance is rare, and she carries it with such ease and intention. I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful and dedicated she is with the children, especially with my daughter. She missed a significant portion of the fall semester, Mrs. Romana made sure she received extra enrichment and support when she returned so she wouldn’t fall behind. She met Gianna exactly where she was and helped rebuild both her confidence and momentum. That level of care goes far beyond a standard classroom experience. It’s clear that teaching is more than a job for Mrs. Romana—it’s something she truly loves. Her warmth, patience, and consistency are felt in every interaction (and kids always know who genuinely cares). When it’s time for my daughter to move on to the next grade, Mrs. Romana—and the entire staff at The Goddard School of Sugar Land—will be deeply missed. We are incredibly grateful for the strong foundation, care, and joy you’ve provided.
We love the Goddard School! We have had Mrs Christine for both our boys and we couldn’t be happier! She has been so kind and helpful in making our boys feel special! We also love Mrs Ramona for the pre—K prep! She loves the kids so much and makes they are so prepared for any school they attend! The boys are happy and most importantly we know they are safe and well cared for while we are at work!
We absolutely love The Goddard School. Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is emotional and nerve-wracking, but the staff here makes it feel safe and reassuring. Ms. Baylor, my son’s teacher in the infant room, genuinely cares for him. She is patient, nurturing, and attentive, and knowing my son is comfortable and well cared for throughout the day gives me so much peace of mind. The rest of the staff is just as wonderful. Ms. Kathy, Ms. Patricia, and Ms. Neldy are all kind, welcoming, and attentive, and my son is always happy to see them. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking for childcare.
