The Best Decision for Our Son! We found this daycare after a horrible experience at our first one, and from the moment we walked in, we knew it was different. We were greeted by Katherine and Sam, who were full of energy, warmth, and happiness—exactly what you want in a place caring for your child! Our son started here at two years old and continued through kindergarten and first grade as an after-schooler. I cannot recommend this daycare enough! Katherine is an incredible owner who genuinely cares about every child and their family. Sam is equally amazing—she’s always on top of everything, keeping us informed and making sure things run smoothly. Beyond the exceptional care, this place has given our son lifelong friendships. He met his three best friends here, and they’re still close to this day. In fact, he loves it so much that he asks to come back during the summer! Several of my coworkers have also enrolled their children here, and they all rave about their experience. As I always tell people—the trust I have in Katherine, Sam, and their team is unmatched. I would trust them to take my son anywhere. They treat every child as if they were their own, and the level of care is truly impeccable. BEST KEPT SECRET/DAYCARE YOU'LL EVER FIND. My son has been going to them since he was 4 years old so for a total of 5 1/2 to 6 years now. He went while they were in Pflugerville and now Georgetown. During COVID I was an essential employee so I still had to have care for my son while I worked. They, as with many other care facilites, had to shift operations overnight for the epidemic and they didn't miss a beat. They were amazing during this time. When he progressed to Kindergarten they even helped him do online schooling in addition to aftercare. Unfortunately we moved away 35 miles and enrolled into a different daycare for summer care. My son is Autistic so this was a very big stressor for me and him due to his comfort level and his special needs. Even though the new daycare and staff were nice, they were just not a good fit for his needs. I opted to drive the 35 miles 4 times a day dor 2 months to make sure he could go to A2E for summer. Well worth the time spent in traffic and the extra gas. We did this for 2 summers until we found out THEY MOVED TO GEORGETOWN! This was such a blessing for him during summer. Especially because he got to do field trips to the local movie theatre! Sadly, we have since we moved out of the county about 100+ miles away so we won't be able to have another summer with them. We have a very long standing relationship with Kathryn and her staff and I can confidently say Ants to Elephants is hands down the best daycare you'll find in all of Central Texas. They are safe, the building is secure, they are very knowledgeable about food, nutrition and allergies, they don't just keep your kids busy, they educate and teach responsibility and most of all made this very nervous mom of a special needs child feel completely safe and at ease because they treated him just like one of their own. Ants to Elephants is one of those rare places thst doesn't come around often. You are in GREAT hands with Kathryn, Ms. Samantha and the rest of her staff. ❤️ We will miss them dearly.
