What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Transitioning my children to a new school was a big step for our family. My son had never attended school full-time, and my daughter had never been in a school or daycare setting at all, so I was very nervous. From the moment I walked in, this school felt welcoming, homey, and community-driven — like a true village for children and families. Almost three months in, I couldn’t be happier. My son absolutely loves school, talks about his teachers and friends, and even asks about school on the weekends. His preschool teachers, Ms. Mirosa and Ms. Princessa, are amazing and have played a huge role in his excitement and growth. My daughter is thriving in the toddler class, and being able to check in through the app has been such a comfort. Ms. Nissreen is truly exceptional — she has the sweetest, most gentle spirit and genuinely cares for each child. All of my nerves disappeared once I saw how she interacted with my daughter. Because of her care and patience my daughter is thriving. Ms. Taliah has also been great and is clearly loved by the children. Special thanks to Ms. Chris, Ms. Gabby, and Coach — my kids adore Coach! We are so grateful for this school and excited for what’s ahead.
My daughter recently started attending Ivy kids and I’ve been so impressed. The toddler room teachers are great. They are constantly engaging with the kids and take time understanding their personalities and anticipating needs. Ms Nisreen is always responsive, caring, and patient with our child.
As parents, we couldn’t be happier with our experience at Ivy Kids Barker Cypress. Our older daughter has been going here for the past 3 years, since she was just 9 months old, and our younger daughter will be joining her soon. Every teacher she’s had has been wonderful — Ms. Rosa (Infant A), Ms. Maggi (Infant B), Ms. Maria, Ms. Maria Jose (Twos B), and now Ms. Sumaira (Pre-School B). They’ve all taken such great care of her, and we’ve always felt comfortable and confident leaving her in their hands. She has formed a really special bond with Ms. Sumaira and absolutely loves her class. She has so much fun every day — whether it’s playing outside on the playground, doing arts and learning activities in the classroom, or participating in the fun events that are organized so regularly. She’s made great friends, and one of our favorite parts of the day is hearing her excitedly share stories about what she learned and the adventures she had at school. We’re so thankful to Ivy Kids for creating such a caring, positive environment for our child, and we’re excited for our younger one to start there as well. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a place where their child will feel happy and well cared for.
It has been 5 months since my kids moved to this daycare. My kids are 5 and 3 years old they are having a very good time here the teaches are very good and care. Ms. S especially understands and care of my 3 years old she is so much patient and caring, I always feel like my kids are comfortable as home. For my 5 years old Ms.Taylor is doing great job talking to him and give him good time as she have more kids in the class, but this doesn’t effect her taking care of all of them. I just recommend that daycare for all caring parents.
My family has been with Ivy Kids for almost 5 years now, and we couldn’t be happier! The staff is truly amazing — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Mrs. Karen is so kind and supportive, and Mrs. Pamona is incredibly attentive whenever parents have questions or concerns. It really feels like everyone there cares deeply about the children and the families. The activities are always thoughtful and fun, helping the kids learn and grow every day. My son’s development has been wonderful to watch — he’s thriving both academically and socially. Now that my 7-month-old has started in the infant class, I can already see how well she’s doing too! We’re so grateful for Ivy Kids and the loving environment they’ve created. It’s truly a place where children can grow, learn, and feel cared for.
