About Discovery Village Learning Center
Discovery Village Learning Center Cedar Hill
Discovery Village Learning Center (DVLC) is led by Triniche Hutchins and founder Mrs. Hogg, who brings a background in education and telecommunications. The center operates with a mission to provide a holistic environment where children grow physically, socially, and emotionally. DVLC utilizes the Investigators Club Curriculum, blending structured lesson plans with daily devotions and creative play. The facility serves children from six weeks to twelve years old, ensuring a continuum of care as students transition into school. The space is designed to feel secure, featuring access-controlled entry and age-specific classrooms. Parents receive updates through Class Dojo, bridging the gap between home and school. Beyond standard care, the program includes before and after-school support, summer camps, and field trips. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided daily in a nut-free environment.
What Parents Say

My grandson loves it here. He has truly flourished and seems to enjoy himself day after day. The staff make a point to know everyone who picks up each child, so I feel confident the kids are safe, secure, and still having fun while learning.
my child has been going here for almost 2 years, but it feels like longer because of how close he is with all the staff. i enrolled him to help with social skills and communication, but we’ve gotten so much more. the classes are small enough where i feel like each child gets the proper attention, but large enough where it fosters a sense of community and diversity. this center is a safe, nurturing environment with great teachers, good communication, fun community events, and hearty food options. i have no complaints!
My grandson attended here for a year before attending Pre-K. The transition was flawless. My 11 month old grandson will start attending here soon. We love that they are part of Texas Rising Star and must meet state mandated requirements. Having an employee of Child Care Management Services we are able to do a deep dive into daycares and we choose to trust DVLC with our children.
My baby started attending DVLC when we first relocated to Texas and I was nervous being she came from a family daycare and this was new for us. DVLC family welcomed us with open arms and my baby has been excelling ever since! My child has learned so much since she has been here and we love the staff!! I enjoy the fact that they have a actual lesson plans and homework for them and how they keep the parents involved and up to date with class dojo! We love you DVLC keep being great stand up teachers for our babies words will never show enough appreciation ❤️❤️❤️
My daughter has been here for about 3 years and I’ve enjoyed working with her teachers and there is pretty open communication on how she’s doing via the Class Dojo. I like that they work with her and understand her personality. (She’s not a napper but she can have quiet time or “help” others). Smaller class sizes and I enjoy hearing how excited she is to talk about her day.
