I felt safe leaving my kiddo here. The staff cared about him like it was their own child. Everyone was very professional and friendly.

I enrolled my son here thinking it would be a good fit, but it quickly became clear that it wasn’t. During drop-off, I tried to get his teacher’s attention to communicate, and she completely dismissed me. That moment told me everything I needed to know. I was uncomfortable leaving my child in an environment where communication and attentiveness weren’t a priority. My son also didn’t seem happy here, which confirmed that it wasn’t the right place for him. To other parents: if something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts. Pay attention to how staff interact with you and your child. A daycare should be supportive and attentive from the very beginning, and if it’s not, it’s okay to move on.

I came here in my time of need in early 2024 my now 4 Years old is on spectrum and non verbal and not potty trained. She is behind her age milestones development for obvious reasons. I had many daycare turn her down that I was desperate as a stay at home mom who was trying to get back to work after 3 years and moving from NorthWest Texas to DFW it was not easy. Everywhere I took my baby she had anxiety or they didn't want the challenge to deal with her delay development. Kinder care when she arrived she gor our of her shell. They loved one her. She immediately went and played with others . The staff embraced her and made her fikk like home. It made decisions for me to move to Plano because of Kindercare since Inwas still deciding where to move. My baby been here a year and loves it here. So thank you. I would 10/10 recommend 👌🏾

Our 2 year old has been at North Custer KinderCare since she was 3 months old and we couldn’t be happier! Ms Tasha and Ms Shelbi in the baby room were amazing, and her transition to the toddler/discovery preschool room with Ms Hailey and Ms Lorrie was so comfortable and easy! Their attentiveness and frequent updates in the app give us so much peace of mind and it’s fun to see my girl so happy with all her friends. She is learning SO much! Her teachers have become family and we couldn’t be happier!

TLDR: This particular location (can’t speak for anywhere else) has the most amazing and genuine people ever. I trust them all entirely with my family. Now for the long version of why I am bragging about the N. Custer KinderCare crew. We moved to Plano during June 2020-smack dab in the middle of COVID-19 craziness, and it was terrifying to go back to work, let alone have our 9 month old baby go to daycare during a global pandemic. We have two older kids -over a decade of experience with different childcare providers and I am an RN, I knew EVERYTHING to be afraid of. I voiced it (a lot in the beginning, almost helicopter-style😬) and they consistently showed-up with calm, kind and helpful support. Never skipped a beat, never condescending or rude. Worked with my calls and concerns and fear until I had none. Here’s a few examples: Inclusive-Keep current with ALL holidays-currently have the entry decked out in celebration of Black History Month facts with a great spread on Jackie Robinson and cute Valentine hearts, with a happy Chinese New Year banner out front. Communication- We (parents) are the first to know anything about our child, but also with the facility. Emailed AND printed/posted flyers of all new staff training or employees. Calls for boo-boos and written reports that day. Emails for any and all updated with info for each month’s activity or important information. The app helps keep us connected with what our son is doing, pictures during the day, an update for every diaper change, and other needs. They send a daily report of all activities when you pick up your child. Consistent- I know what to expect because they do not waver in routines and their communication is impeccable. Friendly-You want the people watching your kid to make you feel comfortable and you want them to like your child at least a little! They make me feel welcomed and wanted, and all of the staff and management know about the kids individually. That is important. Fun-They’re doing activities and sending home amazing art all of the time. They’re laminated so you can hoard all of the sweet memories safely🥰 Safe-Obviously the most important, but if there’s a raving review I feel like that is a given. They practice what they preach. It is clean, they are practicing every safety measures possible and more. Temperatures are taken at the door with clean thermometers. If there is any illness or suspicion they have informed all parents immediately-real time-then the area locked up, cleaned, and all protocol is followed. Scary to mention, but it is the world we are in now, and that’s just the way it is. Even with that, our family has not been infected due to their safe procedures. I’m beyond grateful. Also-Stacy (director) is an amazing bus driver. I saw the backing up to park-perfection.
