About The Children's Courtyard on West Lamar Blvd
The Children's Courtyard on Lamar Blvd
The Children’s Courtyard in Arlington has served the community for over 35 years, providing a structured yet play-based environment. Our 'Learn from the Start' curriculum is designed around developmental milestones, ensuring children from infancy through private kindergarten are meeting critical growth markers. The campus is state-of-the-art, featuring specialized learning centers for music, art, and science, plus an expansive outdoor play area for physical development. Leadership is a priority here, with our Director holding a degree in Early Childhood Education and over 20 years of experience. We bridge the gap between school and home with the SproutAbout app, offering families real-time updates and live video access to their child's classroom. Beyond our core curriculum, we offer enrichment electives including Spanish, yoga, and soccer, alongside a robust summer camp and before/after-school care for local elementary students.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We have been at this day for 6 months and have loved every second of it! I have thoroughly enjoyed interacting with every staff member I've had the pleasure to meet. They update frequently throughout the day through their app by sending pictures and videos. Although my daughter is young, they constantly are teaching her by singing, reading, and doing art projects.
The teachers and staff at Children’s Courtyard Lamar have been such a blessing! They truly love and care for your child. The curriculum is adorable and fun and they even have special events for kids like Santa visits and a trick or treat carnival. The teachers love their kids and love what they do and you can tell!
I have been very impressed by the care at this facility. I was nervous to transition my 1 year old from nanny care to daycare. My son was met by very caring, attentive staff that fill his days with interesting activities that helped him quickly adjust. They are super responsive and share great updates throughout the day of my little one’s experiences. He seems to really enjoy his days here. High compliments to the team!
I’m so grateful for my son’s school. From the office manager to the teachers, everyone was amazing and made us feel welcomed. The school was clean, organized, and felt like a safe and positive environment for children to learn and grow.
Our son has been enrolled here at this location for over 2 years now and we have been more than happy with our experience. They have helped tremendously with getting our little boy potty trained. Their summer program is so amazing and we look so forward to it each summer, because of the wonderful, fun and educational activities they provide for the children each and every day. They all seem to sincerely care about each and every child, with patience and personalized treatment to each individual child’s needs. We could not ask for a better school, staff, education, or overall education. We highly recommend this school for any age. ~The Illings
