Rainbow Connection Preschool

My kids have been at Rainbow for 5 years so far and it has been a stellar experience. The teachers have cared for each of them in their unique needs and personalities. They faithfully live and teach their Christian values. My kids love going every time. I love their learning-through-play philosophy, and it works. I also appreciated being able to start my October birthday but academically advanced son early because of flexibility in their age/start date. It’s been a complete Godsend to our family!

We love Rainbow Connection! The teachers and staff are kind, welcoming, and engage with the children to make each school day a great one! We are so impressed with the way that the program/curriculum is chosen, prepared and structured - the variety of lessons, the hands-on activities, and all the creative ways of learning that are encouraged! Our daughter completed the pre-k program well-prepared for Kindergarten and beyond. I am so thankful for Rainbow Connection and for the chance to be a part of such an outstanding preschool!

Our family is extremely happy with Rainbow Connection Preschool. The majority of the teachers have teaching degrees (or other related degrees), and all have been working at the school for 7+ years. All of the curriculum is planned carefully and with children's development in mind. We never see worksheets, but we do see pictures of of our children measuring ingredients in a recipe (math), planting and tending a garden (science), bathing a live baby, show and tell (public speaking), and many other hands-on learning activities. The teachers hold conferences with parents at least once per semester, and they track and set goals in all areas of development (social/emotional development, self-help skills, language development , cognitive development, and physical development). Our oldest child was more than prepared for Kindergarten when he "graduated", and our middle child, who has always been shy and slow to warm up to other kids and adults alike, loves going to Rainbow and is often disappointed when it is time to go home. We have every intention of our youngest attending preschool there as soon as he is old enough (they take children age 2 and older). This school is a wonderful value (we joke that we get a Lexus-quality education for the price of a Toyota). We highly recommend Rainbow Connection Preschool!

I cannot say enough great things about Rainbow Connection Preschool! My son is in his second year there and he loves it. All summer long, he asked me "When can I go back to school?" The teachers and staff are so friendly and well trained in what they do. The learning atmosphere really fosters creativity and growth. Also, seeing how my son has grown in his social development during his time at Rainbow has been great.

As a former elementary teacher I have high standards for my children's preschool experience. Rainbow is a safe, loving environment where kids learn and grow while playing. Activities are varied and engaging, giving children lots of experiences that are developmentally appropriate. There is a standard of excellence in everything they do, including very special events for parents. All the teachers and staff are experienced, we have loved them all. My daughter loves the snacks they provide which are often related to their unit (and they often help cook), and the motor room is a favorite!
