What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Our family has been part of The Kensington School community for many years, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and education our children have received. Tyler started there in 2018, and when Adeline joined in 2021—at just three months old—we already knew she would be in the best hands. What makes The Kensington School truly exceptional is that it’s family-owned, and you can feel that sense of warmth, stability, and personal investment in everything they do. The consistent community of long-term students and educators has meant the world to us. Every classroom feels like an extension of home, filled with educators who are dedicated, nurturing, and truly passionate about what they do. The Montessori-based curriculum has helped both our children grow into curious, confident, and independent learners. We’ve watched them flourish academically, socially, and emotionally thanks to the thoughtful structure and caring environment. We can’t recommend The Kensington School highly enough. It has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family.
Our daughter has been attending The Kensington School since she was 18 months old. She is about to enter kindergarten, and we truly believe her experience at Kensington has taught her so much intellectually as well as emotionally. We’re excited for her next steps equipped with all she’s learned in her first school, but also so nostalgic about leaving a place that has truly embraced her and our family. The Kensington School’s staff is all exceptional, from the front desk to the teachers, to the directors who office at the front of the school so know all the happenings of the day. The school keeps parents engaged in updates and events, and fosters an environment of curiosity and independence. For most parents, choosing where your child spends impressionable years of their life can be a daunting task, but The Kensington School has been nothing but amazing for our child’s learning journey. The directors of the school are so invested in our daughter’s future, that they are always keen to share learnings, advice and thoughtful recommendations when asked. Highly recommend The Kensington School!
My family loves the Kensington School so much! My son is 3 and has been going to Kensington since he turned one. Everyday when I drop off my son, I’m confident he is in the best hands! Ms. Nadia and Mr. Ali keep Kensington running smoothly and foster such a loving environment for all the children at Kensington! Each teacher my son has had at Kensington has truly loved him and made me feel so comfortable dropping him off at school each day. The teachers truly go out of their way to love, support, and teach each child foundation skills. I would highly recommend the Kensington School to parents looking for a wonderful place as your child’s second home.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kensington! Both of our sons (3 years old and 6 months old) are thriving here. Our eldest absolutely loves going every day, and now that our youngest has started, it’s wonderful to see many of the same amazing teachers continuing to care for him. The teachers have been incredible at every step, creating a nurturing and engaging environment that has helped our 3-year-old advance in his learning. We truly believe his progress is thanks to the dedication and passion of the staff. The front office team, Ms. Alex and Ms. Tina, are outstanding! They greet every child with warmth and make drop-off and pick-up such a positive experience. Ms. Alex handing out stickers each day is one of the highlights for our son—it’s those little touches that make Kensington so special. The directors, Mrs. Nadia and Mr. Ali, are deeply committed to the school and its families. Their door is always open, and we’ve had countless friendly conversations with them. From day one, they’ve made us feel included and respected as a two-mom family. Every classroom and activity reflects that inclusivity, which means so much to us. Overall, Kensington provides exceptional care, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong sense of community. We are so grateful to have found this school!
My kids have been at the Kensington School for over two years, and we’ve had such a wonderful experience. The teachers are warm, patient, and truly care about the children. They taught my pre-K child so much — from early English phonics to counting — and my child especially loved story time. Every day, my child was excited to go to school, and always came home happy. We feel very lucky to have found such a great school. It has been an amazing two years for our family, and we’re incredibly thankful for everything the Kensington School has done for our kids.
