We absolutely love The Goddard School. My son genuinely looks forward to going every day, which says everything. The teachers are kind, patient, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. It’s clear they care deeply about what they do, and it shows in how confident and excited my son is to learn. We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

I strongly encourage parents to read reviews carefully before choosing The Goddard School – Long Meadow as I’m sure you’ll see many similarities in experiences here. Additionally, I believe they are only rated so well due to the fact that any time a negative review was left parents were repeatedly sent messages to please leave a positive review, many families have felt nervous to post their experiences afraid of retaliation, and leadership is amazing at sweeping things under the rug and gaslighting parents. All four of my children ages 10-almost 2 have attended this school for close to 2 years. While it started off fine, it quickly declined causing my children stress and anxiety. The director, Anne Marie, and the owner, Tamkeen, often sit in the front office gossiping about staff, children, and parents like high schoolers. They often lack the patience and understanding to be caring for children as I’ve witnessed them speaking to, yelling at, and belittling children in harsh and inappropriate manners. My child who takes seizure medication suffers with often feeling overwhelmed and anxious due to her medication and both Tamkeen and Anne Marie have belittled her over unhappy facial expressions or even wanting to sit quietly alone. They have also spoken negatively about my child to other adults and staff in front of her. On one specific occasion Tamkeen aggressively grabbed my child over not wanting to remove her backpack. Other children witnessed this and another teacher even had to step in and tell her to leave my child alone. Conveniently, there was no camera footage from inside the classroom where this actually took place however camera footage did show after the fact of her yelling at my child and pointing in my child’s face. Of course- no incident report was made on this. The only solution- a promised verbal (of course verbal only as things like this go undocumented and swept under the rug) apology to my child and gaslighting that my child was over reacting. Additionally, my youngest child has come home with unexplained unaccounted for injuries. One of which being a bruise under his eye and bleeding knees. Of course there was no initial incident report and no clear explanation. The responses I received over this were “we aren’t sure.” “Maybe it happened when he was with a different teacher” “we will ask the other teachers” EVEN by one teacher “he looks fine just red from it being hot outside” and then a vague incident report days later. I understand toddlers are rough but in no way was this an injury that would have gone unnoticed. For any currently enrolled families here I would highly suggest reconsidering keeping your children here as the owner and director often have a completely different attitude when they know parents are around. My younger child has even said to me “mommy, they do not act the same when all the parents are gone”. MAJOR RED FLAG. While there are staff members who genuinely care and are wonderful at what they do, it is concerning that the owner and director do not demonstrate the compassion, professionalism, or child-centered values parents should expect.

Three of my children attended this daycare, and from day one this place was a nightmare come true. I would strongly advise parents not to enroll their children here. My children frequently came home injured. One of the most serious incidents involved my 2-year-old, who was hurt badly enough that his teeth were almost knocked out and later had to be surgically removed. My 3-year-old daughter told me that another child touched her inappropriately. When I reported this to both administration and her teacher, my concerns were dismissed and I was told that the other child “would never do that because he was not raised like that.” No action was ever taken. The final incident that caused me to immediately withdraw my children happened during pickup. My 3-year-old daughter’s teacher told me that she did not know where my daughter was. I began searching myself and found her exiting a single-stall bathroom alone with a male child. This confirmed my concerns that children were not being properly supervised. In addition to these events, on multiple occasions at drop off/pick up, I’ve personally witnessed multiple staff members using aggressive tones toward children, as well as aggressively grabbing children. Each time I’ve witnessed this, I immediately reported it to administrators and was dismissed with nothing being done. Given everything that has occurred, I truly do not understand how this daycare is still licensed and allowed to continue operating. This facility failed to provide a safe and well-supervised environment for my children, as well as other children. I would not recommend this daycare to any parent looking for quality care and safety for their child.

I would highly recommend this school to anyone in the area seeking childcare or early education. From the very beginning, every staff member at Goddard Long Meadows Farms has been incredibly kind and welcoming—I’ve truly never encountered an unfriendly person here. The teachers provide such a wonderful learning experience through engaging crafts, hands-on activities, and meaningful lessons. In addition, the pricing is very reasonable compared to other options in this part of town. Overall, if you’re looking for a safe, loving, and nurturing learning environment for your child, this is the place to be. My son absolutely loves his teacher, Ms. Sama, and it’s clear that she genuinely loves and cares for him too. I mean look at these photos, that’s one happy kid!! 😍☺️

As a parent, I am truly grateful for the wonderful experience my child has had at this school. He started here as a pre-toddler and is now in private kindergarten, and I could not have asked for a better foundation for his early years. What I love most is the warm, family-like, and caring environment where children feel safe and supported. The school serves fresh, healthy meals made daily, which gives me peace of mind about my child’s nutrition. The owner, who holds a PhD, personally teaches science, art, and cooking camp classes alongside the teachers, which shows her dedication and passion for children’s learning. The director is consistently on top of curriculum planning and ensures that teachers use effective strategies for both growth and learning. Communication with parents is always transparent, honest, and positive, which I deeply value. One of the most amazing aspects is that the owner herself actively participates in classrooms throughout the day, providing extra support for both teachers and students. My child has spent some of his most important years here—he has grown, learned, and thrived in every way. I never once had concerns about his safety or health. I highly recommend this school to any parent who wants a nurturing, educational, and transparent environment for their child.
