Discovery Kids has done a great job with our son :) we always know that he is in great hands when we drop him off. All of the teachers are so loving towards him. We can’t wait to have our little girl there.

I highly recommend Discovery kids academy of greater Houston. The teachers are really amazing, especially Ms. Ramirez and Ms. Williams. My daughter loves the preschool. They take great care of my little one. Besides, teachers and management are very quick to respond if you have any questions and they communicate very well. Great place for your children to learn and grow. One of the best decisions I have ever made for my child.

As a parent, finding the right daycare for my daughter was one of the most important decisions I've made. I am thrilled to say that Discovery has exceeded all my expectations and provided an exceptional experience for both my daughter and my niece who also attends. The staff at Discovery are not just caregivers; they are truly passionate about the well-being and development of each child under their care. Their dedication is evident in every interaction and activity. Communication with the staff is excellent. I appreciate the regular updates and photos they provide, which allow me to stay connected with my daughter's activities and milestones even while I'm at work.

My DD and DS enrolled this daycare from the primary of 2022. They love to go to daycare and have a great time there. Even though its tiny but The children also have enough outside time. And the staff are very nice and they love the children. My DD has enrolled in Pre-K last year, Last summer, we sent her there and had a great time every day. In my opinion, its a good choice to sent children here if you have tight time and wallet.

When picking a childcare provider our number one priorities were safety, the happiness of our child, and the ability to support their social emotional/growth. DKA meets all of this criteria above and beyond. We love the small class size and the ease with which we can communicate with the staff. Our child is blossoming, excited to go to school, and meaningfully connected to their classmates. We've been able to address concerns directly with staff at pickup/drop off and when needed schedule parent/teacher conferences within a couple of days of asking for a meeting. I know that the staff cares about our child and has their best interest at heart. My only negative comments are that they watch a little more TV than I would like. Also, I think the curriculum could be a little more dynamic. (It's more coloring and worksheet based.) Our child actually loves these activities because they involve coloring, cutting and pasting, and other find motor skills. It's a lot like arts and crafts. However, I do wish there were a couple more activities that integrated other forms of education like water based learning, show and tell, and other sensory play. That being said, I would highly recommend DKA to any parent who wants their child to grow, thrive, and play all day long. There is an easiness at the school, amongst the staff, and in the halls. The classrooms are diverse. The staff is always willing to hear my feedback and most important of all our child is HAPPY, CURIOUS, and HAVING FUN. Thanks DKA for taking care our our baby!

While area-wide childcare ratings are high, specific parental feedback for this location remains sparse in verifiable public forums.

Staff Insights

Employee feedback is limited, but a 2015 review from an infant teacher in Houston describes the work environment as fun and playful, particularly noting the unique location near the natural science museum. Another review indicates that a typical day involves a teacher-to-child ratio of approximately 1:7 or 1:8 in toddler classrooms.
