About The Goddard School of Steiner Ranch
The Goddard School of Steiner Ranch
Founded in 2014 by Jennifer Burton, an educator with a degree from Texas A&M, the Steiner Ranch Goddard School serves children from six weeks through private kindergarten. The program implements the Wonder of Learning curriculum, a research-based, inquiry-led approach that balances academic preparation with social-emotional growth. As a Cognia-accredited facility with a 4-star Texas Rising Star rating, the school provides a structured environment designed to foster curiosity and confidence in young learners. The facility features specialized age-appropriate classrooms, including a unique Bridge transition program for toddlers. Safety and transparency are emphasized through biometric key-code entry and a parent communication app that provides daily photo updates. The campus includes multiple outdoor play areas where children engage in hands-on exploration.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We absolutely love this school and community! My son has been enrolled since he was 7 months old, and now at 2.5 years old, he still looks forward to coming every day. He adores his teachers, his friends, and the warm, supportive environment they’ve created. The staff truly knows each child and meets them where they are, which is all a parent can hope for. Highly recommend!
If I could give this place more than five stars I would. I enrolled my daughter here from 3 - 9 months and it was an amazing experience. Her teachers, especially Ms. Catherine and Ms. Naserine were AMAZING with my daughter. Starting daycare was a scary experience (mostly for me) and they helped me feel so comfortable knowing that my daughter was loved and cared for. By the end of our time there, my daughter was literally clapping her hands in the parking lot and wanting to stay at pickup to keep playing. The director staff is also awesome at keeping parents informed, and I really liked the app with updates. I was definitely spoiled having this as my first daycare experience, I am so sad about having to leave (we moved) and I will hold every program to this standard (which is a HIGH STANDARD).
Read a story on FaceTime with 3 year old’s, although it would have been better in person my grandson was pleased that I joined in and the staff were great, the kids seemed to enjoy the story. So good that Goddard makes it easy to be involved when I am so far away.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Goddard School! From the very beginning, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. Our son has been attending for 2 years now and he absolutely loves it—he asks every day if he can stay longer and never wants to leave when we come to pick him up! He’s made so many friends and learned an incredible amount in such a short time. The environment is nurturing, fun, and full of energy. They do a lot of things and great events. We’ve seen so much growth in his confidence and independence. A very special thank you to Ms. Mary, Ms. Bekah, and Ms. Jasmine—they have truly made our son feel so special and loved. Ms. Jasmine, especially, always greets everyone with a big smile and such positive energy. We are so grateful for all the love and dedication they put into each day. We trust them completely, and that’s something that, as parents, is the most important thing. We can’t recommend Goddard enough.
I’m so grateful I found Goddard at Steiner. You can tell how invested Jennifer is in the community; she maintains the school beautifully and hires and retains the best humans you could hope to have around your kiddo. They also have awesome extra events throughout the year- always a hit. They go beyond just working with your kiddo; they keep them busy and engaged all day. The teachers are fantastic, they gave me really good insights on what seemed to help my son focus in the classroom. The staff is always helpful. It was a huge relief to find such a safe, welcoming environment.
