What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
This child development center is truly outstanding. The staff at the Pflugerville location are warm, caring, and genuinely focused on the children’s well-being. Seeing Mrs. Mary each morning is always a delight—she’s an absolute treasure! Ms. Tania is an incredible teacher, and I feel completely confident leaving my child in her care. She’s truly gifted. Overall, I’m very impressed and grateful for this center. We absolutely love them!
I want to take a moment to truly appreciate Ms. Priyanka, who was an amazing teacher for my 2.5-year-old daughter. She showed incredible patience and care, especially during such a critical stage of development. Ms. Priyanka helped my daughter with potty training, encouraged her to eat properly, and taught her how to self-feed — all with genuine warmth and understanding. We felt supported and reassured knowing she was in such capable and nurturing hands every day. Unfortunately, after my daughter transitioned to the next class (3+ years), the experience changed significantly. The level of care and attention seemed to decline — she often came home with unexplained scratches or marks, stopped eating well, and was no longer taking naps. What was most concerning is that the children were made to lie on their mats for 2.5 hours without any engagement or flexibility — something that felt more like a punishment than a rest period. From a developmental and emotional standpoint, this environment wasn’t beneficial, and we noticed that she wasn’t making any academic progress either — she didn’t know her alphabets or numbers, which was concerning at her age. Ultimately, we made the difficult decision to move her to a different school that better suited her learning and emotional needs. That said, we remain incredibly grateful for the time she had with Ms. Priyanka — she laid a strong foundation, and we’ll always be thankful for her care and guidance during those early months.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kiddie Academy. From day one, the staff has been nothing short of amazing—warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient not just with the kids, but with us as parents navigating this journey too. They take the time to really get to know each child and family, which makes all the difference. I especially want to shout out Ms. Mary, who is truly the heart of the Academy. She watches over all the kids like they’re her own, and her care and love shine through in everything she does. You can tell she genuinely loves being with the kids, and they absolutely adore her right back. It’s such a comfort knowing our little one is spending the day with someone so kind, attentive, and nurturing. It’s rare to find a place that feels this safe and supportive—and Kiddie Academy, thanks in large part to Ms. Mary and the rest of the staff, absolutely delivers. We’re so grateful!
Super friendly staff always with a smile and a good morning. LOVE my son’s teacher Ms Tanna. My son has grown so much under watch both academically and socially.
I waited about a year to leave a review of Kiddie academy in pflugerville. My son went to this location for around a year and half until another vastly superior child care center in the area had room for him. A few things to note about our experience with Kiddie Academy of Pflugerville: 1. My son came home with bug bites constantly. His legs would be chewed up every week or so. When this was brought to the attention of the owners they were completely indifferent for some reason and wouldn’t even let me check the yard for ant piles. Grass was eventually replaced with artificial turf but the attitude of owners was a sign that I should have started looking for child care elsewhere. 2. There were several time’s when my sons water bottle would come back home completely untouched and he would be voraciously thirsty when he got home. There were also times when his water bottle would be bone dry when we came to pick him up. When this was brought to the attention of management it was met with indifference by staff and owners. 3. I’m unsure if she is still there, but there was a receptionist who seemed to have contempt for the parents who came to pick their children up. Always an absolutely horrible attitude towards my wife and I. I never understood why but now I know it’s probably because the owners feel the same way as her. 4. Zero interactions with parents from the teachers. We had no idea what happened during the day and it was such a zoo there really wasn’t the opportunity to have an insightful conversation with teachers/staff. 5. There is no curriculum for students that we saw. I believe I saw one teacher reading a book to a group of students once but nothing else of note. Within a couple months of my son attending another child care center, he started blossoming. Spend more money or find a higher quality solution than Kiddie Academy of Pflugerville, your children are well worth it and you won’t have to worry that your child is getting the care they need.
