About Texas Heritage Children's Ranch
Texas Heritage Childrens Ranch
Established in 1990, Texas Heritage Children's Ranch offers a unique learning environment situated on a spacious property adjacent to Randolph AFB. As a Texas Rising Star provider, we utilize a developmental learning-through-play philosophy, incorporating the Scholastic "Big Day" curriculum for Pre-K students to ensure kindergarten readiness. Our facility is designed to feel like a second home, featuring specialized areas such as a science center, art center, and an expansive playground with a covered sandbox. Our program emphasizes active exploration, from infants hitting developmental milestones through sensory play to preschoolers tending to our on-site vegetable garden. We offer full-time care, after-school programs, and engaging summer camps that include weekly swimming, skating, and field trips to local attractions like Morgan’s Wonderland and the Witte Museum.
What Parents Say

Amazing experience all staff is great. Director is super engaged and so is staff. This place Has that Texas southern hospitality, has a deep root homelike feeling also including but not limited to amazing learning for kids a lot of additional optional 3rd party extracurricular activities. Bonus of all is both my kids love this place as if there at home and so do we as parents nothing better than kids loving where they go to school. This place and its staff go above and beyond for the children and staff is amazing and happy as if they really loves there job teaching and educating . Been to multiple highly reputable daycares in the area and nothing compares to here at Texas heritage as there literally the best and we’re going to be here a while not moving the children.
Texas Heritage Children's Ranch provided such excellent care to my child. Jonah loved his time there. Their staff is kind and caring. I never witnessed any raised voices or frustration, even when the little ones were not following directions or having a melt down. The facility is well maintained and clean. I always saw staff conducting end of day cleaning: sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces, toilet scrubbing, etc. when I arrived for pick-up. I would recommend this facility to any parent with children of all ages.
My daughter has been here for 2.5 years and she loves it (she is now 3) She has loved all of her teachers and I have never had an issue with any if them. She comes home happy everyday and it makes me feel good knowing she is in a safe place playing with her friends. When I pick her up she tells me what they did that day, never a bad day. Very happy with them and if there is a wait it is very worth it.
My infant goes here. During my lunch hour ill go spend some time with him and the babies are always happy and hardly crying. The teachers are just wonderful. They are so attentive and caring... I am so happy with this daycare!!
I highly recommend texas heritage. The teachers my son has had have all been great, especially Mrs Christine - she is such a great person, my son loves her and I love knowing she is watching over my baby. They have a large, extremely well kept playground with a vegetable garden. Big covered sandbox. Lots of tricycles. Badge access at front door. My daughter is in the after school program, she enjoys it and says there are a lot of activities for her there.
