About Spark Learning
Spark Learning Inclusive Preschool ABA
Founded in 2012 by Kristen Rakun, Spark Learning grew from a small neighborhood effort into a premier inclusive preschool and ABA therapy center. Located in a charming Central Austin schoolhouse, the program provides a unique 'Little Sparks' model where children of all abilities learn together. The environment is designed to feel like home, featuring vibrant playrooms and an outdoor space with sensory upgrades that encourage natural interaction and movement. The program integrates the Frog Street Curriculum with evidence-based ABA and Speech therapy, overseen by a dedicated team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts. Every child receives a personalized plan focused on language, social skills, and self-regulation, all delivered through a playful, naturalistic approach. Whether attending for the peer-model preschool or specialized therapy, families find a supportive 'village' focused on celebrating every developmental milestone.

Spark has given our son exactly what he needs from a therapeutic setting. We are so grateful for the care and attention to his development as an individual on his own timeline. The whole staff has been kind, supportive, and communicative along the way. Best of all our son feels valued and included!! Thank you for all you do!
An incredible agency with talented and knowledgeable therapists who provide strategic guidance to those kids they serve. Compassionate staff including the office manager who respect and care about your child’s growth and development! The best programming all year round full of innovation and creativity! Love Spark!!
We have nothing but great things to say about Spark Learning at the Enfield location. Before we found Spark we were questioning everything when it came to our son’s treatment and education at the age of three. We knew his early years were crucial to his development and we wanted to make the best decision for his future. What we found at Spark was a new sense of hope. We found a group of people that not only gave everything to his development, but they also gave it to me and my wife. We cannot thank the team enough for changing our lives. The changes in my son’s development are nothing short of remarkable and we have everyone at Spark to thank for that. My son is now 6 and will be going into first grade and we will continue to have Spark Learning as part of our lives through elementary school and beyond. If you are reading this and wondering if Spark could be a good fit for your family. I would strongly urge you to speak to them and visit the Enfield location. It could be life changing.
When my oldest son was diagnosed with autism, we were overwhelmed. A friend recommended Spark. From our very first evaluation, the kindness and understanding of the Spark team began to quiet our anxieties. While we briefly navigated other ABA programs due to their waitlist, the difference upon joining the Spark family was immediate. The daily drop-offs, once filled with uncertainty, transformed into happy transitions. For our boys, Spark became a place of joy and belonging. The magic lies in their inclusive peer model preschool classroom set up. This thoughtful approach creates an environment where our sons have not only thrived alongside their neurotypical peers but have also been embraced for exactly who they are. It’s a beautiful collaboration of teaching all the kiddos invaluable lessons in inclusion, kindness, and empathy, right alongside their academics. The growth we've witnessed in our sons has been nothing short of remarkable. Our older son, who joined Spark at three and a half, transitioned into the public school SPED program pretty smoothly this past school year. He found his voice, speaking his first words with prompting around his fourth birthday—a milestone we will forever cherish. Our younger son started his Spark journey at two and a half and, over the past year, has made incredible strides. Now five, he confidently spells on his AAC device and is verbally labeling all things around him with a motivation for learning. What sets Spark apart is their collaborative and respectful approach. They have always honored our family's goals, working with us to target specific skills. This partnership extends to every member of the Spark team. The front office staff are consistently warm and accommodating. The teachers, RBTs and BCBAs have always worked well with our boys. More than anything, what we found at Spark was our village. A community that presumes competence, follows our sons' lead, and celebrates every single victory, big or small. They have looked for the best in our boys, and in doing so, have helped them shine. Spark is more than a program; it's a place where our family has found hope, support, and a community that feels like home.
We’ve had such a positive experience with Spark Learning Preschool and ABA Therapy! The entire team is wonderful, but I have to give a special shoutout to Sabrina, the client care coordinator. She is kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She is always quick to answer questions and make things easier for our family. Sabrina goes above and beyond to make sure we feel supported every step of the way. We’re so thankful for her and the whole Spark Learning team!
