TROPHY CLUB WONDERLAND HAS DEACTIVATED THE GOOGLE REVIEW SECTION!! My family recently had a very disturbing experience at Wonderland Montessori in Trophy Club that I feel responsible to share to protect other families. During a regular school day, my 2-year-old was left in urine-soaked pants, underwear and even his T-shirt and hoodie for over 40 minutes. His blanket was also soaked in urine, what shows that he pee during his nap time, and a staff member placed the wet blanket in his backpack (without any plastic bags) which clearly shows awareness of the situation but failure to properly clean and change him. When we arrived, he was distressed, uncomfortable, and visibly wet, in a day that was doing close to 35 degrees outside. My husband picked him up and put in the car seat in this condition. This is a direct violation of Texas child-care safety and sanitation standards, which require soiled clothing to be changed promptly and children to be cleaned to avoid skin irritation, infection risk, and emotional distress. In addition to basic hygiene failures, we uncovered major supervision and emergency-response concerns: The staff member in charge of my toddler’s classroom that day did not speak English or Spanish fluently enough to communicate in an emergency (for example calling 911 if a child was choking, seizing, or injured). At 2:30 PM, there was no administrator or receptionist onsite or answering the front desk, even though the school operates until 6:30 PM. So my husband was not able to talk to no one about the incident at the day, that was last Friday we had to go yesterday. That means during a critical part of the school day, young children were supervised only by someone who could not reliably communicate with emergency services if something serious happened. When we raised these issues with leadership, instead of taking responsibility or outlining corrective actions, the school chose to remove our children from enrollment. This approach shows a lack of accountability, rather than a commitment to safety. Parents trust schools with their children’s safety, dignity, and basic care. Unfortunately, that is not what we experienced here. I hope this review encourages management to improve staff training, language-proficiency standards, emergency readiness, and basic hygiene compliance, so no other child goes through what ours did. Coincidentally or not the staff member was an Indian lady, so I will let you find out that, after all this our kids were dismissed and we where accused of discrimination against this teacher, when the only concern we raised was about her capabilities as a responsible adult in charge and the fact she doesn’t speak English (not even the minimum, and Im Brazilian my English is not perfect but I can call 911 in case of an emergency!) and this was not the first incident she had with failing basic hygiene with our son. Turning of your Trophy Club google reviews will not protect your reputation.

I appreciate the way you create a safe, warm environment where she can learn, feel supported, and be herself. Your dedication never goes unnoticed, and I’m genuinely grateful for the love, stability, and encouragement you bring to your classroom. You are truly a blessing, and we appreciate you more than words can express.

Our family has been a part of Wonderland Montessori for the past seven years, and we truly couldn’t imagine a better place for our children to grow and learn. Both of our kids have attended, and from day one the experience has been exceptional. The guides are incredibly passionate about what they do—they love, support, and protect your children just as you would. There has never been a moment when we didn’t feel our kids were in the very best hands. Their patience, dedication, and genuine care shine through in everything they do. The newest director has also been a wonderful addition, bringing a renewed sense of warmth, community, and family to the school. It’s clear that she leads with heart, and the environment reflects that. Our children have become kind, independent, and confident learners, and we owe so much of that to the amazing ladies of Wonderland. Their guidance has shaped not just our kids’ academic skills, but their character as well. We are endlessly grateful for this school and recommend it wholeheartedly to any family seeking a nurturing, inspiring, and truly special Montessori environment.
