About My Preschool & Child Development Center-Alameda
Faith-Based Early Learning and Play
My Preschool & Child Development Center-Alameda is an established faith-based program that has served the Corpus Christi community since 1984. Owners Kainee and Scott Bram emphasize a "play is serious learning" philosophy, utilizing the research-based Pinnacle curriculum to foster social-emotional growth and spiritual development. The center operates out of a secured campus featuring coded entry and regular safety drills to provide parents with ultimate peace of mind. The facility provides care for infants through school-age children in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Daily schedules include Bible focus time, outdoor exploration, and hands-on activities designed to build self-confidence and a love of learning. While the center provides healthy snacks and drinks, families are responsible for providing their own breakfast and lunch meals. Communication is streamlined through the Brightwheel app, ensuring parents are always connected to their child's day.
What Parents Say

I absolutely fell in love with this place about two years ago when my son started there when he was about 17 months old. He did graduate and is now in pre-k with CCISD. He misses My Pre School. However my daughter is also going to My Pre School now. She has been going there since she was about 9 months old and she's now almost 2. My Pre School has very friendly staff. They are professional, communicate on a regular basis with parents. They provide breakfast for children. They create lesson plans for each month. They keep the kiddos busy with plenty of activities, crafts, playing outside, toys inside, etc. It is a very clean establishment that is very welcoming. You can tell that the employees and owners truly care about our little ones. They are a secured campus with locks on every entry. Only designated parents/grandparents/guardians are allowed to enter/pick up/drop off kids. You check your kids in and out daily. They truly care about the kids well being, emotions, physical health, mental health. They have holiday events for grandparents day, fathers day, mothers day, fall festival. They try to include family as much as possible to stay involved. I am very thankful for everything that they've done for my son and now my daughter. I don't plan on having more children, but if I did, I would send them to My Pre School!!
If you’re looking for a preschool, My Preschool Alameda is the absolute best! I have been fortunate enough to have both my kids attend here and have gotten to know all the teachers and staff really well over the years. They are SO amazing with my kids and I feel so blessed to know they’re in such wonderful care when I’m at work. Every single teacher has gone above and beyond to create a caring and positive atmosphere and they truly care about the well being of your child. They learn so much through all the planned learning activities in the classroom where the kids are always getting to do hands on activities. The teachers and staff work very hard to keep learning fun and exciting and my kids LOVE going here!
We're so grateful for My Preschool! The staff and teachers have been incredible since we enrolled our little one. They take great care of him and he's learned so much in such a short amount of time. My wife and I were looking for the perfect option that would help his development and allow both of us to work full-time without us having to worry incessantly about him during the day. Thankfully, we can work and know that he's in the best of hands, that he's learning and growing, and that he's being well cared for. We highly recommend My Preschool & Child Development Center!
Choosing a child care center for our first child was stressful enough, but to do it in a new town away from friends and family was daunting. My Preschool Alameda was by far our favorite school we visited, and has surpassed even our great first impressions (my daughter has been here since she was 4 months old). We are very comfortable with the care takers here and truly feel as though they love all kids. The facility layout/classrooms are warm and welcoming, the days are structured well, lots of outside play, the staff is flexible with parent/kid needs, and I’m always impressed with how well behaved all the kids are (not an easy task, which I think shows great care and attentiveness). For anyone out there like me who is nervous about making this big decision...you won’t be disappointed here!
My son has been attending My Preschool Alameda since he was 10 weeks old. My husband and I love his preschool. From the director to his teachers - they have all been very responsive, communicative, attentive but most importantly, CARING; you truly have peace of mind (which is HARD as a parent). I don't ever post reviews but I did want to share my experience as I know this is such a sensitive and important decision. We are not originally from here, so selecting a school was a scary/daunting task - we feel fortunate and blessed we found this school..our son loves it and has thrived/learned so much!
