About The Learning Experience - Castle Hills
Enriched Learning at Castle Hills Center
The Learning Experience at Castle Hills provides a curriculum-rich environment for children from infancy through school age. Our proprietary L.E.A.P. (Learning Experience Academic Program) focuses on the whole child, integrating STEM, sign language, and character development into daily activities. The center features unique environments like 'Make Believe Boulevard,' an indoor play street where children can explore real-world scenarios through dramatic play. Led by Director Krissia Orellana and a team of dedicated educators, many of whom have degrees in early childhood education, our program emphasizes both academic readiness and social-emotional growth. We prioritize safety with secured entrances and maintain strong parent-teacher connections via our secure mobile app, providing updates and photos throughout the day. From potty training support to kindergarten prep, we strive to be a partner in your child's developmental journey while maintaining a clean, professional space.

Love it here. They’re so good to my little one! The director and teachers are wonderful and they really take the time to ensure that you’re happy with their service and care for your little 🙂
My daughter has been going to TLE for 3 years and she has just flourished and is ready for kinder. We absolutely love her teachers ms. Lorena!!
We absolutely love Ms. Dakota! She is patient, caring, and always goes above and beyond to make sure the kids and parents feel comfortable and supported. She communicates well, keeps me updated on progress, and it’s clear she truly enjoys what she does. Thank you Ms. Dakota for all you do.
In the middle of the school year, was scrambling to find somewhere I could send my daughter that had availability, an affordable tuition, but didn’t sacrifice quality of care/education and this was it! It’s not just an early learning center, my daughter had homework and was doing addition at 4 years old. Her teachers and all the staff did an excellent job preparing Kennedy for elementary school and life as a whole. To eir curriculum is very well-rounded and their staff truly care about the students. Thanks TLE!
Today marks a major milestone - my baby graduated Pre-K! I am deeply grateful for the exceptional teachers and staff at The Learning Experience (Castle Hills), who have been truly phenomenal over the last three years. Ms. Lorena has been an absolute godsend to Tristan and our family; we will be eternally thankful for her unwavering support and guidance. You are indeed one of a kind!

Safety Record
In August 2025, a lawsuit was filed against this location alleging negligence after a two-year-old child slipped on a wet floor from a known rainwater leak in May 2024, resulting in a tooth extraction. State investigators cited the facility for failing to maintain a safe building and for staff failing to demonstrate good judgment during the incident. Previous licensing citations included a failure to ensure the director and staff held required certifications in pediatric first aid and CPR.
Parent Reputation
The facility maintains a high rating of 5.0 on parent platforms like Winnie and Niche, where families praise the interactive L.E.A.P. curriculum and caring teachers. However, these positive sentiments are contrasted by a publicized legal battle regarding an injury and emergency response failure. Overall parent sentiment remains favorable for daily educational activities, while safety concerns have been raised through legal channels.
Staff Insights
Employee reviews on Indeed for the Lewisville location average between 3.3 and 3.5 stars, with feedback highlighting supportive teaching staff but noting inexperienced management and high turnover. A 2023 review from a former business manager indicated that frequent staff changes were beginning to impact the quality of care. One staff member, who is also a parent, shared a positive review of the facility's creative environment.
