About The Kids Club
The Kids Club: Learning Meets Adventure
The Kids Club in Magnolia is a specialized facility designed with a focus on school-age enrichment for children ages 5 to 12. Owner-operated by a director with over 24 years of experience, the program is built around the philosophy that learning and adventure go hand-in-hand. The facility stands out for its unique 'zones' designed to engage older children, including a homework-focused Concentration Station, a cinema area with stadium seating, an indoor climbing structure, and a soda-shop themed Hang Out. The program offers comprehensive logistics for busy families, including transportation to and from local schools and full-day summer camps with weekly field trips. Safety is a high priority, featuring a restricted-access door system, ID verification for all visitors, and video monitoring in every classroom and playground area. Students are served breakfast, a hot lunch, and two daily snacks, ensuring they are well-nourished throughout their day of play and study.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We are impressed with the level of care, professionalism, and dedication of every staff member at Kids Club. This was our daughter Victoria’s first daycare experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. From day one, the team made her feel incredibly welcome, helping her adjust quickly. It wasn’t long before she was excited to arrive each day, eager to see her educators and friends. The nurturing environment and attention to detail in every aspect of her care truly stood out to us. We’re so grateful for the positive and joyful experience Victoria had, and we would highly recommend Kids Club to any family.
We have been here for a few months now and our daughter is so super happy. The teachers are very kind and loving and most importantly she enjoys going every day. She’s been learning so much ever since we enrolled and very grateful for all the efforts of the teachers and support staff!

Safety Record
In December 2022, former employee Dennis Michiel McDaniel was arrested and charged with indecency with a child following an investigation into inappropriate behavior at this facility. The investigation began after a parent reported that McDaniel attempted to contact a student on her personal phone after his employment had ended. The facility is currently a licensed child care center (Operation ID: 1631888) with a capacity of 100 children.
Parent Reputation
The facility's reputation is largely dominated by news coverage of the 2022 employee arrest, which sparked significant concern among local parents regarding staff screening. Formal parent reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, and Woodlands Online are extremely limited or unavailable, making a consensus on daily quality of care difficult to determine. Some local directories list the facility alongside its sibling location, 'The Academy,' which serves younger age groups.
Staff Insights
Staffing history is marked by the 2022 criminal case involving a caregiver who worked at the center from October to December of that year. No verifiable employee reviews regarding workplace culture, turnover, or management were found on professional review sites like Glassdoor or Indeed for this specific location.
