What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We are beyond grateful to have found Mrs. Penny for our son Isaiah. From day one, she has been nothing but patient, loving, and attentive with him. As a parent, it gives me so much peace of mind knowing that my child is in such caring and capable hands every day.
My daughter Olivia has been attending KinderCare Southlake since she was just a few months old, and now, at 4 years old, she’s preparing to start Pre-K this fall. It’s truly with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to the incredible teachers and wonderful director who have been such a meaningful part of her early years. From the very beginning, the staff has been loving, attentive, and fully invested in Olivia’s growth and development. They’ve gone above and beyond—not only providing healthy meals and a safe environment but also creating fun, educational activities that helped her learn, explore, and thrive. Watching Olivia grow into a confident, kind, and curious little girl is in large part thanks to the nurturing foundation she received at KinderCare. We are so grateful for the care, patience, and love they’ve shown her every step of the way. Thank you, KinderCare Southlake, for being such an important part of Olivia’s journey. We will miss you dearly. With Love, Mom
Our 5-year-old daughter has attended for two years, and we couldn't be happier with Southlake-Grapevine Kindercare. The entire faculty and staff are consistently welcoming, always greeting us with warm smiles and ready to help, especially Mrs. Penny the current director. We have complete peace of mind knowing our daughter is safe and well-cared for every day. Every teacher our daughter has had has been truly wonderful – she adores them all! They've done a great job encouraging her independence and preparing her for kindergarten, and we are happy with the level of care and education she receives.
My 4 month old baby started going here about 4 weeks ago when I went back to work. They made the transition into childcare easy on my family by showing how much they care. I was terrified to go back to work and leave my baby in the care of someone else but they put my mind to rest by working with us to ensure we were comfortable and to know that our baby was going to be safe with them. They answered all of our questions, met all of our needs, and let us tour the facility more than once. Our baby is happy there and has a routine down now according to his needs. They are part of our family now!
We have had a great experience sending our baby to daycare here. Ms. Penny, the director, is amazing. Open communication is her number one priority. She has listened and followed up on every comment or concern I ever had. She also focuses on continual training for the teachers, which I have seen have a direct benefit to my child’s care. Ms. Rosario in the infant room is the best! She is the most patient and thoughtful caregiver I have ever seen. You can tell that she and Ms. Penny truly love what they do and care deeply for all of the students.
