About Montessori School Of Odessa
Montessori School of Odessa on Grandview
Founded in 1975, the Montessori School of Odessa has a decades-long history of serving the West Texas community. Under the leadership of Director Valerie Diaz, who has been with the school since 1994, the program follows the traditional Montessori method. The curriculum is built around the 'prepared environment' where students lead their own learning through hands-on exploration in sensorial, math, and cultural studies. The school is deeply rooted in social responsibility, with children participating in traditions like the Trike-a-Thon for St. Jude, blanket drives for local seniors, and the Salvation Army Angel Tree. This emphasis on community extends to the staff, as the school provides college scholarship pathways for its educators. The facility offers school-age care and transportation, ensuring a supportive environment for working families while fostering a lifelong love of learning and global awareness in every child.

Awesome school! Definitely a school I recommend for anyone looking to enroll their children. Staff is very professional and lovely
I loved montessori school of odessa and so did my son. We will miss the teachers tremendously. They always made my son feel special. Thank you to the staff and the director for always taking care of my baby like if he was your own
I have thoroughly enjoyed having my son here. The staff has always been professional and caring. They have small events/parties for the children and parents. They inform you when there is a sickness going around. Always helpful and understanding. I am starting to realize a place like this is hard to find in the P-B. I can't say enough good things!
Ms. Diaz and Ms. Grant were absolutely amazing. I loved having my son here. I liked that they gave progress reports on his learning and if he ever got hurt or had questions they called me immediately. May 2017
Very loving staff. I have been impressed with the care given to my grandchildren from daycare age to after school care.
