Treehouse is a wonderful place with a very caring director and staff. If we hadn't moved out of state, my son would still be going there. It felt like a place where they truly cared about the kids and their families. I have yet to find their equal in my new city.

The director and the teachers are incredible. We were very picky at selecting which daycare to send our daughter and we are thrilled we picked this one! Treehouse has become a second family for our baby girl. They are organized, so kind, and passionate about the kiddos there. They make tough goodbyes in the morning a little easier - I get to see my daughter's face light up seeing her awesome teachers!!

We enrolled our then 9 month old son and 3 year old daughter at Treehouse Learning Center in June 2017. We had just moved to Bellaire from Sugar Land and were struggling to find a safe and suitable place to send them that didn't have a multi month / year wait list and one that we could afford. We had just left another phenomenal school where our daughter had been enrolled and they set the bar rather high as to what we expected in a school and we were not sure we would find another school like that. Treehouse was one of the many daycares/schools that we looked at all over Bellaire, the Galleria, and the Med Center but after having a great walkthrough with Ms. Ayana we decided to give them a go and we're so happy we did. The staff has been phenomenal with our kids, in terms of both their educational development and also their care and concern for our children's well being. After a year at TLC, our daughter is more than adequately prepared for Pre-K4 at the Catholic school where she started a couple of weeks ago and she made a ton of friends. And our now almost 2 year old son absolutely loves going to school and seeing his favorite teachers. I had intended to post this earlier after seeing a bunch of Nextdoor recommendation requests for schools but am only finally getting to it. So if you're looking for a safe place for your children with great staff and convenient hours, check out Treehouse Learning Center.

My son absolutely loves this place. I was reaching a point where I didn't feel safe leaving him anywhere and then I found Treehouse Learning Center. He looks forward to getting up every morning and going to school. Ms. Ayana is amazing and very understanding and definitely caters to each child's individuality. Hands down best place to take your kids.

We absolutely love this place. My children have blossomed, and every morning my son says" We're home!", upon arrival. The teachers are as fantastic and friendly as the love they give each child.

Aggregated insights from public records & parent discussions

Safety Record

No major safety incidents, legal issues, or closures were found for the Bellaire location. The facility maintains an active state license (#1639988) with a capacity of 102 children and provides parent access to live web cameras in every classroom as a security feature. While one 2017 parent review noted sanitation concerns in the infant room, recent feedback does not indicate recurring safety or health violations.

Parent Reputation

The center has a generally positive reputation among parents, who frequently praise the program director, Ayana Williams, for her dedication and 'family-like' treatment of the children. Positive reviews highlight strong academic outcomes, such as early literacy and social skills, while a minority of feedback mentions concerns about the frequency of childhood illnesses common in group settings.

Staff Insights

Employee feedback is mixed, often describing a family-owned work culture that can be both loving and high-pressure. While 2019 reviews cite a supportive and purposeful environment, a more recent 2024 review indicates challenges with understaffing and high stress levels. Common themes among staff include a deep affection for the children contrasted with concerns regarding management's handling of workload and staff communication.
