What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Amigos Little Learners is an amazing school! The teachers and staff are so caring and create a warm, family-like environment. Every morning, they greet each child by name with big smiles and hugs—even the owner and directors are involved and stand at the door to welcome everyone. My daughter started at Amigos when she was almost two. We only speak English at home, so I was amazed to see how much Spanish she learned through the school’s immersion program. By the time she graduated from the four-year-old class, she was bilingual! I honestly couldn’t believe that three years of Spanish immersion could make such a difference. Now that she’s in kindergarten with a bilingual teacher, her teacher is amazed by how well she speaks and understands Spanish. Because of that incredible experience, we enrolled my son when he was 18 months old, and he’s currently still attending in the two-year-old class. He already understands Spanish and has started speaking it, too! They also have an excellent curriculum. I didn’t get to spend as much time teaching my son before school as I did my daughter, yet he already knows some letters, colors, and can count in both English and Spanish—all thanks to the wonderful teachers and program. It’s truly amazing to see how much this school has done for both of my children. The school offers flexible schedules, before- and after-care options, and requires uniforms—which, in my opinion, makes mornings much easier—but there are also times during the school year and summer program when kids can wear their own clothes. They don’t provide lunch, so parents send one from home, but they do provide morning and afternoon snack. I would highly recommend Amigos Little Learners to other families. I’m so grateful that my children have had the opportunity to attend and experience the gift of learning another language in such a loving and nurturing environment.
Highly recommend. I visited a few places to enroll my non verbal 18 months old child. As soon as I walked in I felt the honesty and caring in the atmosphere. They do so many sensory and other developmentally appropriate activities and they just so caring.
We started at ALL when my daughter was 2 years old. She absolutely loves her school, her teachers and the friends that she has made. The curriculum is great! The kids feel loved and safe. The Spanish immersion program is wonderful and my daughter can now easily communicate in Spanish. We drive from Atascocita everyday and the commute is worth it. I highly recommend this preschool to anyone that I talk to.
Would highly recommend Amigos Little Learners for any family who is looking for a kind and cultured school community. Both of my children have had wonderful experiences at ALL and I am so grateful for the time we have spent getting to know the fabulous staff, welcoming administrators, and the other families.
Our son started at Amigos Little Learners at 18 months. He is currently in PreK 3 and will be attending PreK 4 in the fall. As parents, we wanted to expose our son to a bilingual environment where he could interact with other children his age. We were anxious about starting him so young but the "maestras" and entire staff at Amigos Little Learners were the protective and nurturing foundation our family needed. With their support, our son has developed a vocabulary and understanding of spanish that we are dearly proud of. My wife and I feel at ease because we know he is safe and cared for while he is the at the school learning. Amigos Little Leaners has multiple attendance plans to suit all parents' work schedules. They have Early Drop off if parent work schedules require drop off before 9am and Stay and Play for late pick up if parents work late. Their cost is fair and competitive for the area and the school and its classrooms are always neat and spotless. Lastly, the school's leadership, specifically the director and her assistant are always visible and know each student and parent by first name. Their management of the school is second to none. My family and I recommend Amigos Little Learners to any and all parent(s) that are looking for schooling and childcare for their children. It's been a wonderful journey watching our little boy advance through the different Lily Pad levels.
