About A+ Learning Academy
A+ Learning Academy Christian Preschool
A+ Learning Academy offers a structured, Christian-based educational environment for children from infancy through school age. Using the research-based Circle Pre-K curriculum through the Children's Learning Institute, the program focuses on four key developmental areas: social-emotional, physical-motor, language, and intellectual-cognitive growth. The large-scale center is managed by an experienced leadership team including Executive Director Amanda Winkler and Director Amber Schiller, providing a community-focused resource in the West Temple area. The facility features a nutritious meal program and dedicated outdoor play spaces. Families benefit from transparent monthly rates and the use of communication apps for daily updates and photos. While the curriculum follows the Texas Early Learning Guidelines, the academy also offers after-school care and preschool options designed to prepare children for kindergarten through engaging, play-based activities.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
If you have a child of color do not dare enroll your child. It’s sad to have to say that racism is still a thing in 2025. The company is only worried about money not the children. They provide nothing for the children not even a place to warm up lunches. They allow sick children to stay so they can continue to charge the families. They hide the truth of situations from parents. To think I thought I was doing a good thing by enrolling my child in this school is a shame on me. They are not to be trusted with anyone’s child definitely not one of color. I should have known better when I saw how much of the decorations were centered around cotton. This facility should be ashamed of itself.
This place is such a GEM and a breath of fresh air from our experience at other centers. The owner/directors are very personable and communicative. Each teacher really cares about the students. When we did have an issue (SO minor) each and every staff member took it very seriously and addressed it that very same day. They also followed up in the subsequent days to let me know they were ensuring it was resolved. The communication apps they use help me feel connected to my children's school day. I can reach out to the teachers or directors at any time. They post pictures of my kids' days, too. A plus is definitely the highest quality around. Don't look anywhere else!
My kiddo has been attending A+ for years and the owners and staff have all loved him well and he is excited for school. They even stepped in to help our family through personal challenging circumstances as if we were their own family. I never have to worry about him not getting loving care. He has learned so much and continues to learn and grow.
Do not let those 1 stars fool you into thinking this facility is anything short of outstanding. The entire staff is so welcoming and accommodating. They communicate beautifully about your children and their success. They send daily photos to show how happy your children truly are. As a mother of a child that has been intentionally hurt at a daycare, trust me when I say, I trust these guys.
Up until yesterday, my 5 year old daughter was in the care of Ms. Amanda and her wonderful staff. I have nothing but fabulous things to say about A+ Learning Academy. The only reason we took my daughter out was because of us moving. The facility is spotless and smells so nice and clean, the staff is courteous and you can tell they love what they do. Nothing but smiles on their faces. My daughter learned so much from Ms. Brenda an is ahead in what she needs to know to stay kindergarten. If you want to drop your child off and not have to worry, take them here. We will miss you all!!
