About Prep N' Play Academy
Montessori Education and Professional Soccer
Prep N Play Academy is a Montessori-focused center founded on traditional philosophy combined with modern curriculum. Director Rochelle Kelly, who was raised in her family's private Montessori schools, leads a program that cultivates a child's natural curiosity through self-directed activity and hands-on learning. The facility features specifically designed environments for infants (starting at 6 weeks), toddlers, and primary students, including a fenced outdoor play area and gardens. The academy distinguishes itself through unique enrichment programs, most notably the Lil' Strikers soccer program hosted by a former professional soccer player. Other extracurricular options include yoga and dance. The daily routine balances intensive Montessori work cycles with creative play, music, and group lessons. Meals and snacks are provided with a focus on fresh, low-processed ingredients and the ability to customize for special dietary needs.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Prep N Play is the best! My two children attended Prep N Play from infancy until they left for kinder, which spanned 7 years. The owners Jeff and Rochelle are very hands on and simply wonderful. They strive to hire only the best staff, and many teachers have been there multiple years. Everyone truly loves and cares for the kids. I knew my kids were safe, well taken care of and learning and growing each and every day. We were so sad when our time came to an end.
It's hard to summarize everything I love about Prep N Play in a review! After trying a few daycares, we are so grateful to have found this one! Our son has been attending since he was a baby and loves it. Passionate and qualified teachers in a loving environment. They teach values and responsibility to the kids while still fostering independence and fun. They cater care to meet each kid where they are in their development to help them grow.
Currently have two daughters enrolled with Prep n Play! My oldest started in 2019. We have loved Prep n Play. My kids feel safe to be themselves and are very much loved by the teachers. They promote their independence and teaching kindness. My kids learn so much everyday while still getting to be kids. Overall communication is great and easy to get a question answered. Highly recommend everyone there!
We have been part of the prep n play family for over 3 years now. We have had the best experience with both our kids and drive 15 minutes out of the way each day just so that our kids have the best care. I can’t recommend them enough!
My three children have been with Prep N Play for over 10 years combined. We moved away for 3 years and could not wait to get back to Leander and re-enroll our children! The owners/directors are some of the kindest, hardworking people we’ve ever met. Our children have always loved the teachers at Prep N Play, and have made some of the fondest memories. The Montessori learning has made such an impact on my children’s development, and the facilities are always organized and clean. We LOVE Prep N Play!
