About Atascocita Methodist Church
Atascocita Methodist Weekday Learning Center
For over 35 years, the Weekday Learning Center at Atascocita Methodist Church has provided a nurturing environment where children grow in wisdom and grace. The program balances play-based exploration with structured academic development, utilizing specialized spaces including an indoor gym, library, and dedicated chapel. Kindergarten students benefit from modern tools like interactive smartboards, while all children participate in 'Movin’ & Groovin’' gross motor classes and daily musical activities. The center prioritizes safety and parent connection, employing a licensed peace officer during school hours and using the Brightwheel app for real-time daily updates. Director Beth Johnson leads a dedicated team where many teachers are long-term staff members who stay for years. While the center provides daily snacks, parents provide a ready-to-eat lunch, creating a collaborative approach to the child's school day.

Great church filled with great people. Very welcoming. Come on in! Lots of programming that something for everyone in the family.
Great Christmas Service. 🙏🎅🤶
Very nice place. Attended for a middle school choir concert.
Youngest granddaughter was in their Christmas program. It was a wonderful event. She only attends twice a week. Thanks for your commitment to the children, and their families, and your spiritual faithfulness.
My husband and I have been members since 2001 and we have felt that we are part of a family of love, giving, commitment and community. With the Covid issues that basically shut down businesses and social activities, Atascocita United Methodist Church managed to continue worship services via YouTube and Sunday School Classes via Zoom. We never felt alone. God was with us as well as our church family.
