About The Journey Bible Fellowship
Journey Bible Fellowship Mothers Day Out
Journey Bible Fellowship Mothers Day Out (MDO) provides a Christ-centered environment for children ages 2 to 5 in the Leander community. Operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, the program is designed for families seeking a part-time schedule that follows the Leander ISD calendar. Under the leadership of Director Bonnie Bownds, the program emphasizes social, emotional, and spiritual growth through structured play and age-appropriate learning. The facility features bright, engaging classrooms adorned with nature-themed murals and dedicated spaces for music and movement. While the center provides healthy snacks, children bring their own lunches to enjoy in a communal setting. The program focuses on school readiness by fostering a sense of community and teaching biblical values in a warm, encouraging atmosphere.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
The most wonderful Church Home - focused on the word of God, not on showy presentations or entertaining a crowd. This is a gospel-centered place that is deeply caring & compassionate with strong relationships for existing and newcomers. Fantastic children's ministry also!
We've been coming to the Journey for a couple years now and it is an amazing church and community of people. The Biblical teaching that occurs here is extremely strong and my faith has grown by leaps and bounds in our short time here. And the people are truly fantastic. When we first attended they were so welcoming and warm that it drew us right in and we'll felt so much love from so many families. If you're looking for a new church family, you won't find a better place.
The Journey Bible Fellowship Church has been my spiritual home for 19 incredible years, and it deserves every bit of this five-star rating. The biblical teaching is profound, guiding us with wisdom and depth. The strong sense of community is real and connected; we're not just members; we're family. Serving others is woven into our DNA, making a real impact locally and globally. Above all, our focus on God's word is unwavering. This church isn't just a place of worship; it's a transformative journey of faith, love, and service.
We have been attending the Journey for over 10 years. This church has become our local spiritual community who loves the Lord and loves us as we do life together. We enjoy hearing the truth of God's word taught each week. These are real people who will make you feel welcomed and where there is room for you.
I've attended The Journey for over 17 years and am happy to call this church my home church! Curt preaches the Bible clearly and accurately every Sunday. The members are friendly and welcoming. They have great children and preteen classes during the 9:30am service as well!
