About Wisteria Preschool
Nature-Focused Reggio and Montessori Preschool
Wisteria Preschool offers a thoughtfully integrated curriculum that combines the structure of Montessori with the creative expression of the Reggio Emilia approach. Established in 2017, the school is housed in a purpose-built European farmhouse design that emphasizes natural light and a direct connection to the outdoors. Founded and operated by a family of educators with over 50 years of collective experience, the program treats children as capable, powerful learners who are encouraged to explore their 'hundred languages' through various artistic and academic media. Students enjoy a wide range of enrichment programs at no additional cost, including Spanish, music, yoga, and nature studies on the surrounding green belt. The facility features specialized learning spaces such as a dedicated art atelier, a children’s library, and a yoga studio.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We absolutely love Wisteria Preschool! The teachers are truly exceptional—Ms. Sherry and Ms. Christina are kind, caring, and genuinely wonderful educators. They create such a nurturing environment, and it’s clear how much they care about each child. The school itself is bright, clean, and welcoming, and it fosters such a positive, supportive atmosphere for learning. The curriculum is perfectly balanced and has been a great fit for my child’s development. We feel so grateful to have found Wisteria Preschool and highly recommend it to any family looking for a loving, high-quality early education experience.
Our 4 year old son has been going to Wisteria for over a year and a half, and we are so grateful we found this place. Ms. Sabiha and Ms. Hiba truly care about the school and have created such a clean, organized, and nurturing environment. The teachers have strong educational backgrounds and put so much effort into planning meaningful activities every day. Our son loves going to school, and we love the daily updates and all the thoughtful work they do with the kids. This place genuinely feels like family. They always go above and beyond when we need their help or support with anything. Ms. Hiba is wonderful and even leads emotional-intelligence sessions for both children and parents. We truly appreciate everything this school has done for our son. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great preschool!
Disclaimer: review is off of a few months of attendance to the 18mo room only. My son has been attending since he was 18months and since transitioning to this school we have had some positive ques to show us this school is the gold standard in early childhood education. First and foremost, at pick up he is giggly, gives his teacher a warm hug and does a happy dance before trying to climb into the car. On a deeper level, he shows compassion for other children and can verbalize emotions. He is well mannered, independent and can recite a good majority of his alphabet and count in Spanish to 3 confidently and count to 10 in English. Aside from my son’s experience, I want to also note I love that all the classrooms are clean and learning tools are methodically ordered and curated to create a homey feeling. The concept of using both Reggio and Montessori learning approaches is why we toured, the wonderful person our son is becoming is why we stay.
I wrote this to Angela Paxton who's office is near by. Whoooooo Ate nature Go End Lost Ate S unZ Ate Nature Nature End Pole Ate X Top O Nature Did you really lose all the eating you did.... Who else knows? HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE VICTIMS TO YOUR SYSTEM? This is so unnatural a nightmare to us. We can't believe your participation. But we are glad to say! ITS OVER. As for you this is only the beginning. UnZ the beginning!!! Sorry this never happened for y'all!
Our eldest daughter attended Wisteria Preschool for ages 3-5, and she loved it! Wisteria's sweet, caring teachers and special approach helped her build a love of learning and prepared her with a well-rounded foundation upon entering kindergarten, where she is currently thriving. What makes this school unique is how it is artfully and thoughtfully designed to create beautiful and functional spaces for the children. Our daughter especially loved the Piazza as an indoor play space, the playground established within nature, and the Atelier for creative exploration. I do wish Wisteria served lunches for convenience and provided higher quality photos and updates throughout the day, but I understand not having these helped make the school more affordable. It is very difficult to find a school like this, and we highly recommend checking it out to see if it's a fit for your family.
