What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Our son has been attending Goddard for a couple of years now. From the Owner, Swati, Office staff to the Assistant teachers, Everyone has been pleasant, caring and supportive to not only our son but to us also. We have experienced kind, genuine love and care from those who cared for our boy. Thank you Goddard.
We love The Goddard School of Georgetown! We've had our son enrolled both full time and part time. Each experience has been excellent! He loves his teachers and has so much fun playing with friends and in the provided activities. The activities are so thoughtful and engaging and the teachers have been very supportive. Every day at pick-up he tells us that he loves going to school, which is so relieving after a tough drop off that morning. The staff is always on top of keeping us informed of anything and everything going on and the owner, Swati, is so friendly and always ready to help. Can't say enough good things about this school!
We’ve had such a great experience here! Swati, the owner, is super involved and you can really tell she cares. The teachers are great with the kids. We’ve toured several daycares before putting down our deposit for this place. Our toddler has now been going here for over 6 months, and she has already learned so many new skills. We feel really good about our choice!
I do not recommend this school, we faced issues from the jump when we enrolled. We were promised a standard of education that was not provided, a promise to help my child succeed instead we face daily problems leading to severe regression. Neglecting potty training with no communication of accidents until me and the child's father brought it up due to my child regressing quickly. Throwing my child's clothes away because he had an accident without our permission and knowledge. All this led to my child telling us the teachers were not changing him after accidents. We continued to tell the director and teachers this needs to be addressed and faced several times we picked up our child in soiled clothes sometimes reading of urine. Within 4 months 3 teachers are no longer employed, two of which were the caregivers at the time we faced the school failing to inform us of the injury of my child neglecting the chance to proper medical treatment on a timely manner, documentation was back dated and I had to request them to fill it out properly and inform them of the severity of the injury. The teacher whom incident occurred with, in the timeframe of the weekend she was no longer with the school following the incident, then followed with the next class up my child was to start with the teacher was let go with no warning or update for weeks regarding my child's class involving police at the school. This caused immediate concern. From the instability of teachers with misconduct and neglect to moving my child to a class he's not ready for due to the neglect of potty training from the failure of consistent staff, the all over negligence we faced was awful. We changed schools within 2 days in the new school my child has completely been himself again and is potty trained and not afraid of the teachers and enjoys going without fear of potty accidents or getting hurt.
I had a wonderful experience taking my daughters to summer camp and daycare. The staff is incredibly kind and made them feel truly welcome as part of the group. I also appreciated the regular updates on daily activities, which allowed us to reinforce what they were learning at home. The facilities are excellent, and the staff does an outstanding job. Kudos to Goddard for creating such a safe and enjoyable environment—my daughters loved their time there!
