What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
My family started at Barton Creek CDC in May 2025 and we love it so much. The teachers are so loving and caring for my son and he loves going to school everyday. My son has also made so many friends and we love the family events. The teachers and directors are amazing here and they take wonderful care of our little one ❤️
As a former childcare director I know the industry and how hard it is to keep all the children happy, engaged and safe. The owner and directors are transparent, loving and have kept my children safe and loved since we moved to BCCDC in August of 2024, after a most horrific experience with a teacher bullying my oldest in a nature school in Dripping Springs. People are on here complaining about no cameras, honestly, I don't want my children in a school where hackers can get into the system and look at my children without my knowledge. Camera systems in school are not safe and I don't support it. If you want to visit the school, you have the right as a parent to visit any time. Just drop by, there's no issue. I loved that they allowed the use of cloth diapers, franchises in the area told me I had to use disposables, which was a complete deal breaker for me. They also use conscious discipline techniques and have a heavy focus on social emotional learning, which is key for smalls to build foundational relationships with peers and adults. I will not send my kids anywhere else until they are of school age, there's no need. As a parent who wants their kids to be safe, healthy and loved, it's a no brainer.
Barton Creek CDC is a southwest Austin staple loved by so many long time Austinites! This school has prepared lots of little ones for success and my family absolutely loved it. Amazing teachers and inspirational Founder. They have beautiful and fun outdoor spaces for students to use their imagination, build friendships, and find joy. Definitely check them out if you’re looking for childcare!
Barton Creek CDC is truly an outstanding childcare program! The teachers and directors are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in every child’s growth and happiness. The center offers an enriching curriculum that encourages curiosity and creativity. They are also accredited through Texas Rising Star, which reflects their commitment to high-quality early childhood education.
Our son has been with BCCDC since 6 months old and is now 3. We have found it to be top notch in the area. The premises are clean, nice spaces, both indoors and out and help foster a positive learning environment for the littles. We’ve made a few friends along the way and we feel confident in BCCDC’s communication with us and their commitment to the safety and well being of our child. The staff is great with relatively low turnover. Very happy with our choice, give them a look if you’re on the hunt for great day care with caring staff paired with wonderful educational foundations for our most precious assets.
