What Parents Say
I highly recommend Cielito Lindo. It’s a small school with big heart. You can tell that Ms. Maria, Ms. Mei, and all the teachers truly care about the kids. My son thrived at CL and loved going to school there — it was “his Cielito Lindo.” They helped him develop his social-emotional skills and learn Spanish and mandarin as well. They do a nice mix of academics and fun. The kids also get plenty of time to play outside, which was important to us. Since my son doesn’t really like to talk about his day, I love all the pictures and updates we received throughout the day on the Brightwheel app so that I had an idea of what he did. I’m sad we had to leave to start kindergarten but I’m thankful they helped prepare him for it.
My 3 year old has attended Cielito Lindo preschool for over a year. Ms. Maria does an exceptional job making the school a welcoming, nurturing place. Young kids can be themselves, learn language and social-emotional skills, build friendships, and be excited to learn. My son is excited to go to school each day and comes home singing songs in Spanish and Mandarin. The teachers are fantastic and take great care to know what each child needs. Uniforms are a plus bc we don't have to have a daily battle with our son on what to wear. I love getting frequent updates on the Brightwheel app, which we use to check in and check out our son each day. With kids, germs spread easily but they take great care to keep the school clean and the kids healthy.
It is an amazing place for my kids to learn. The team is caring and loving. Can't recommend enough.
My daughter attended Cielito Lindo for three months, when she was 17 - 19 months, before we moved away from the area. From our initial meet and greet with Ms. Maria and Ms. Mei, we knew CL was the best choice for our family. They, and their staff, exuded kindness, patience, and compassion towards us and our little one. When my daughter, like most kids do, would cry during drop off, they would send me a message and picture of her having calmed down, which also calmed me and was so appreciated. Once my daughter acclimated, she learned a lot at CL, whether Spanish vocabulary or social skills or skills like feeding herself, and transformed overnight into this confident little girl who asks for “agua” all day at home and randomly starts counting to ten in Spanish, or to five in Mandarin. I hold CL in such high regard and couldn’t recommend it more for your little one! I am so grateful for how much my daughter was cared for and loved and nurtured during her time there. Thank you so much Ms. Maria, Ms. Mei, and staff!
The love that María Elena has for children is incomparable. It is definitely the perfect place to leave our children with our eyes closed ❤️ My Sebastian loves her like crazy 🥰
