What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Both of my sons attended this daycare for several years and I cannot say enough about how well they cared for my children. My 3 year old son has special needs and they accommodated him in whatever he needed, often going above and beyond what I requested. My son has been in physical therapy for a long time and the staff at Creative World asked me to bring his walker there during the week so that they could work on walking with him while he was there which I believe really aided him in being able to walk sooner than we anticipated. My 5 year old son is very advanced for his age because of the education he received at Creative World and I loved that they worked on teaching him his letters and sounds from a very young age. Whenever my son was ready for potty training, his teacher asked that I send him to school in underwear and bring lots of extra clothes and they had him potty trained in one week. I had an INCREDIBLE experience here and recommend it to anyone I know. I am only sad that we had to leave because my kids started school. Thank you Creative World!
I rarely write reviews, but parents need to know what is happening at Creative World School in Georgetown. My son attended this school for almost a year and a half, and everything changed for the worse the moment the new director, Ms. Erica, arrived. I am a single mother with no family nearby to help, and I work far from Georgetown. On days with heavy traffic or delays at work, I occasionally arrived a few minutes late. I fully take responsibility for that — but the way the situation was handled was unnecessarily harsh and completely lacking in basic human understanding. What truly pushed me to write this review is the attitude and the environment created under Ms. Erica’s leadership. From the moment she took over, the school became full of unreasonable rules that made no sense and made life harder for working parents. Suddenly we were told: • No sleeping bags allowed • Children must be dropped off strictly before 10 AM, even if you had a pediatrician appointment • Constant new restrictions without any explanation Every morning I felt like I was being interrogated. Ms. Erica would question me in a way that felt judgmental and humiliating: “Do you remember our rules?” “Are you aware of…?” It felt more like being inspected than dropping off my child at a place where he should feel safe and cared for. But the worst incident happened the day my bank delayed processing my payment. I brought my son to his classroom as usual and immediately went to the office to explain the issue. Instead of a simple, calm conversation, I was told I “was not allowed” to bring my child to class. She then walked into the classroom, took my child by the hand, and pulled him out to the office — in front of other children — as if we did something wrong. She ran my card again, and of course the payment went through instantly. Only after that she “allowed” my son to return to class. I left the building in tears and cried the entire way to work. No parent should ever be treated this way. Rules are one thing — humiliation is another. And this isn’t just about my experience. The staff turnover has become shocking. Teachers are quitting constantly. One of them quietly told me she was leaving because she could no longer tolerate working under Ms. Erica. When educators keep walking out the door, something is very wrong. Creative World School Georgetown could be a wonderful place — but not under its current director. The administration lacks empathy, flexibility, and basic respect toward parents and staff. I strongly do NOT recommend enrolling your child here unless the leadership changes. A childcare center should be a place of support, compassion, and stability — not a place where parents are spoken down to and children are used as leverage over paperwork and payments. I hope this review helps future parents make an informed decision.
We love creative world school! The teachers are amazing and so is leadership! Ms Erika and Ms Andrea are heaven sent! The updates on procare give us so much peace! Thank You Creative World for being such a amazing environment for my little one ❤️
I am writing to commend Creative World School for their outstanding care and services. My two oldest sons have been attending the facility for roughly a month, and their excitement about the summer camp is evident. They previously attended a facility where they were mistreated, but their experience at Creative World has been overwhelmingly positive. They enjoy the field trips and appreciate being with children of the same age. Today, my 8-month-old started, and although I was apprehensive, Erika (the director) and his teachers were reassuring. They provided regular updates on his activities, which helped alleviate my concerns. As someone who has worked in daycare settings, I am impressed with Creative World's emphasis on cleanliness and the staff's dedication to understanding each child's individual needs. The facility is always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly endorse Creative World.
I want to give this center 5 stars because the teachers have been kind and welcoming—no issues on that end. However, the director, Erika, at the front desk has been consistently rude and unprofessional. While she may try to come across as professional, her attitude is noticeably hostile and not appropriate for a childcare environment. Her demeanor is more fitting for a correctional facility than a place designed to support children and families. During my tour and orientation with Andrea, I was told my daughter would be placed in a specific classroom, which we visited. However, I later found out she was placed in a different room without any communication. When I attempted to get clarification, I was met with unnecessary hostility from Erika rather than helpful support. This is now my daughter’s second week, and while I’m happy with the care she’s receiving from the teaching staff, the front desk experience has been extremely disappointing. I expect clear communication about where my child will be and to be treated with basic respect. I strongly urge management to address this issue and consider having someone more professional and friendly in Erika’s position. Her presence does not reflect a safe or nurturing environment for children.
