About Montessori Oaks
Montessori Oaks Near Anderson Mill
Montessori Oaks provides a year-round learning environment for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old, focusing on curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. The program stands out for its personalized approach, where guides meet each child at their specific developmental stage rather than following a rigid classroom timeline. Beyond the core Montessori materials, the curriculum is enriched with Spanish and music to foster a global perspective from an early age. The school environment is designed to feel homey while maintaining high academic standards, often seeing children master complex skills like reading and early geometry through hands-on exploration. Director Ninna Tuck is frequently praised by parents for being responsive and nurturing a community atmosphere. With an emphasis on 'grace and courtesy,' the program helps children learn to navigate social conflicts and develop life-long independence.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
Our daughter has gone to Montessori Oaks since she was three months old and she is now nine months. She loves it here! She has the best time in the infant room. The owner, Ninna, is super responsive and kind and really cares about the kiddos. Ms. Sara is also super sweet and does a great job with the little ones. They also do a lot of fun events and activities.
Our child started at Montessori Oaks at almost 3 years old and spent the next 2.5 years there. We loved his teacher, Ms. Nipa. He was happy, made friends, and enjoyed learning. At the end of his time there he was well prepared for kindergarten. We will miss Montessori Oaks and the memories we made.
Another review long overdue! My baby girl went here from three months old until 18 months and we only left because we needed a daycare that was on the way to my husband’s work. Ninna’s place feels more homey than other daycares, and I know parents that drive as far as Manor to come here. The teachers were great, my daughter learned so much and excelled quickly, and I loved all the activities they had. I would recommend this Montessori to anyone.
As first-time parents, we couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care our infant has received. Ms. Renu, Ms. Sara, and Ms. Ashley in the infant room are truly wonderful—warm, attentive, and incredibly nurturing. They’ve created a safe and loving environment where our baby is clearly thriving. Ms. Ninna, the director, has been equally amazing—she made the transition into care seamless and is always approachable, responsive, and supportive whenever we have questions or concerns. The facility itself is beautiful, and the infant room is thoughtfully designed with a wide variety of engaging, developmentally appropriate toys. We feel so confident and at peace knowing our child is in such good hands.
The director and Teachers really took the time and effort to understand my daughter’s needs and accommodations. She had a very efficient yet short adjustment from a traditional preschool to Montessori Oaks. My daughter’s vocabulary has improved significantly, As well as her desire for Independence, since attending this school. Would 10/10 recommend for any child.
