About Spilled Milk Social Club

Spilled Milk Creative Social Club

Spilled Milk Social Club is a child-centered, play-based enrichment program serving school-age children since 2012. Located in the Cherrywood neighborhood, the program is designed to foster confidence, resilience, and curiosity through unconventional and inspired activities. From recording original music in professional studios to building elaborate stage plays with handmade costumes, the club offers an alternative to standard childcare that feels more like a creative workshop. The facility features dedicated on-site creative workspaces and an outdoor play area where kids can engage in unstructured, imaginative play. Directed by a seasoned staff of approximately 32 individuals, the program emphasizes emotional maturity and community. For added convenience, they provide transportation from several local elementary schools including Lee, Mathews, and Maplewood, making it a reliable and enriching hub for Austin families.

I can't tell you how amazing this place has been for our family. The staff are so compassionate, funny, and creative. My kid has been comfortable there since the first day. They are great with communication, easy to work with, and all with a smile. I honestly don't know how they maintain their positivity with so many rascally kids every day, but they do. Their summer camp is a blast too! They are always coming up with new creative ways to entertain everyone. Three cheers for Spilled Milk!

I sent my son to SMSC for years, for summers and after-school care. Great staff, super vibe, a true Austin gem. I wish I had more kids to send to them, their influence on my son was so positive!

Our family has been fortunate to be part of the SMSC for three years and it it has always been an incredibly positive and joyful experience. S & A have always been super receptive and professional and ALL of the SMSC staff and crew amazingly loving and caring of our daughter. I can’t speak highly enough of the thoughtful and creative work they put into our kids’ days and experiences. Five stars all the way!

My family has been extraordinarily impressed with the spilled milk social club summer camp offerings. The staff take the kids on inspired field trips every day and the counselors have been really good at supporting emotional maturity within the children. The kids performed their own songs and recorded a CD at an actual recording studio. Also created their own stage plays with costumes they made themselves. Summer finished out with a fun karaoke party at the Highball.

Spilled Milk Social Club is an amazing place! Both of our kids have been attending the after school and the summer camp programs, in some capacity, for the last 5 years. Stella, Ali, and the rest of the crew are extremely creative and experts at carrying out some phenomenal ideas for the kids to participate in. We love everything about our Spilled Milk experience! You will too.
