About Todays Child Learning Center
Today's Child Learning Center Austin
Today's Child Learning Center is a third-generation family business with over 30 years of history in childcare. Lead by Director Lindsey Jackson, a certified early childhood teacher with 15 years of experience, the program focuses on fostering social-emotional growth and academic readiness. The center utilizes the Frog Street curriculum, which integrates academic subjects with conscious discipline to support well-rounded development. To ensure each child is meeting their milestones, the staff uses evidence-based tools including the ASQ-3 questionnaire and CLI Circle Assessments for children ages 3-5. The environment is designed to be accessible and nurturing, providing a small-setting feel where students can build strong relationships with their teachers. With a long-standing presence in the Austin community since 2008, this center prioritizes quality care that remains affordable for local families.
What Parents Say

Excellent activities, learning based, safe, and accedited teachers.
My 2 year old son attends this child care center and I am truly happy with it overall! The owner and her staff are the kindest people! They are always in a happy mood and the children look comfortable and happy around them ! My son has been to other centers before and this is the first one that I can give a high rating on. I am grateful that my son attends this wonderful childcare center! Thank you Ms. Cheryl and her staff! ❤️
Small setting, caring teachers and happy kids
0 out of 10. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. SO I WENT IN TO DO A WALK THROUGH SO MY CHILD COULD ATTEND THERE AND THE LADY WAS VERY VERY VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!. So no services from me, my child could stay where he's at!!!!
Both of my kids had been attending a different daycare prior to attending here (Today’s Childcare), according to the other facility my oldest (3yr old) would cry for hours and the teacher could just not deal with her anymore (3 months) so I had to find another facility for them. On there 1st day here (Today’s Childcare) with in just minutes of leaving she stopped crying and made friends very quickly. She was happy for most of the day. I’m thankful for the owner Cheryl and her staff for taking us in. My children are happy and not crying.
